I walk around Diagon Alley. Watching the students gather their supplies for school. I smile as memories of my time at Hogwarts flash through my head.

"I can't wait to be sorted!" I say excitedly as my big sister smiles at me.

"You'll do great! I bet you'll be in Hufflepuff or something," S/n says.

"I don't care what house I get, I just hope I make friends!" I say smiling wide.

"With your Wit and social ability, you'll do just fine in the friend's department," My sister says making me smile.

Soon the train came to a stop and I was walking to the boat with my fellow first years.

"Hi, I'm Y/n L/n, what's your name?" I ask turning to a boy beside me.

"I am Cason," He says and I smile.

"Are you excited to be sorted?" I ask and he nods.

"My brother says Hogwarts is the best place ever," Cason says and I smile.

"My sister says the same thing," I say smiling happily. 

Eventually, we were all in a line waiting to be sorted.

"Next up is Y/n L/n," McGonagall calls out my name. 

"Ah, another L/n, your sister was easy to place, although you are difficult. You're cunning, yes, and have a nice thirst to prove yourself. Better be SLYTHERIN!" The hat yells out my house and excitement bubbles within me. I smile as McGonagall changes my robes to green with magic. I walk to the table and sit beside some random people. Slowly more people are sorted and people clap and cheer when a person is added to their house. I look around the table and see an old friend sitting a few people away.

"How did I miss his name?" I ask myself quietly.

"Next up is Cason Lightman," McGonagall says. I smile and watch as he is placed in Slytherin. I clap excitedly as he walks towards me and sits beside me.

"We are friends now," I say smiling.

"Best friends?" He offers and I nod my head.

"Yes, best friends," I say happily.

After sorting I was walking with Cason when my sister called out my name. I turn and see she is walking towards us.

"Hey S/n, what's up?" I ask and she smiles.

"I want you to meet my boyfriend, Jackson Lightman," S/n says.

"Hey, little bro! You make friends with S/n's sister?" Jackson asks and Cason nods. "Well then, hi, I am Jackson," Jackson says turning to me.

"Nice to meet you, Jackson. I have one thing to say, don't hurt her, or your head will be on a stick," I say smiling sweetly.

"Uh, yeah okay," Jackson says seeming slightly scared.

"Y/n..." S/n says. I shrug laughing lightly.

"What? I have to protect my family, whether they are older or younger," I say, shrugging.
