The week went smoothly, she finally finished Spencer's script and gave it off to him. He thanked her profusely, going on about how she has the best work yet again. Something about the way he spoke so highly of her work right to her face meant a great amount.
It really motivated her to continue working despite the major case of writer's block she was going through. Thankfully today was Friday and she wouldn't be expected to do any work over the weekend. Another thing about the weekend was the fact that she would be going to a party.

At lunch she was sat by Zoey, each just scrolling through their phones, getting the most out of their break. That was until Zoey said something about the party, which caught her a tad bit off guard.
"Okay, so about the party. I figured out Shayne and Courtney are hosting it at their place so there's that. There's also a dress code... which I know you don't usually dress up but this'll be so much fun!!" Zoey goes on about just how much fun this party will be.
"Oh great, you mean to tell me i'll have to dig through boxes of old clothing for something semi fancy and party like?" Charlotte groans.
"Orrr.. I was thinking we could go shopping after work!" Zoey claps her hands in front of her on the table.
"I think that is best.. If I remember correctly all that's in old boxes is like stuff you wear to family get togethers."

After work Charlotte and Zoey had chosen to walk around the mall and look for a dress. It wouldn't have been her first choice, but it was her only choice.
As soon as they got there they headed for a specific store Zoey had wanted to check out. When they made it inside the store Charlotte was bombarded by bright lights and shiny material lining the walls.
It was quite overstimulating but she could get through it if it meant making Zoey happy. Right now Zoey was walking all over the place, taking a look at a few dresses before she made her way back to the entrance where Charlotte had been left.
"Okay so, follow me. This area has great dresses that I think would suit you well and are appropriate for tomorrow night." Zoey leads Charlotte to the back corner of the store that had monotone dresses.
Charlotte looks around, there are a few dark colored dresses amongst a lot of neutral and bright colored ones. One that immediately caught her attention was a dark red, maroon color. It was very pretty to her so she pointed it out and Zoey had the same opinion.
"Should I get this one? I mean i like the color compared to everything else here and it's a nice shape of dress!" Charlotte asks.
"Oh my god, yes of course. This is beautiful! You're seriously going to show everyone up tomorrow night." Zoey says, hyping her friend up.
"Aww thank you Zo, you're the best." Charlotte replies, taking the dress off the hook and walking over to the register to pay.

Later that night Charlotte was sitting on her couch watching something off netflix. She wasn't really paying attention because she was reading a book, it was more for background noise than actual entertainment.
