Epilogue
The two of them are laying in their bed, Leo and Adrien cuddled in between their legs as they're re-watching one of Charlotte's favorite movies. After moving in together she has forced him to watch most of her favorite movies, whether he admits it or not she knows he likes it.
The same goes for her, she watches as he plays some of his favorite games and constantly nags on him for how stupid some mechanic is or how the game isn't aesthetically pleasing. Despite all that she enjoys getting to see him so focused on something he's clearly passionate about.
At work everyone has made it known how happy they are for them. Courtney was extremely excited upon hearing the two of them are officially together, complaining that they had to wait all this time to be able to go on double dates. Ian was proud of the two of them, making a joke that there's something in the air making all of his 'employees' fall in love.
The movie's ending and Spencer is quick to turn the volume down, a past experience with the movie credits having ridiculously loud music haunting them.
Charlotte glances up at him from her spot on his chest. "So, what did you think?"
He opens his mouth to say something before pausing, she can see his brain turning inside out thinking about something; definitely not the movie, she thinks to herself.
"It was great, yeah." Suddenly she can feel his heart rate grow, which is not normal for someone lying down.
"Is everything okay?" She sits up shooting him a concerned look.
"Mhm, fine, just a little tired is all."
"Are you sure? It seems like something's wrong. If you hated the movie you could just say so, I won't be mad." She adds trying to lighten the heavy air surrounding them.
"No, it's not the movie. It was actually amazing." He lets out a nervous laugh.
Before Charlotte can even think about what to say he's moving his body until he's sat in front of her. Slowly, giving her time to back out, he's closing the space between them, their lips being the connector.
It's different from any other kiss they've shared. This one's desperate and a very in the moment kiss.
Charlotte's hands travel up his body, resting behind his neck as he pulls away, their foreheads briefly resting against the other before he fully pulls away.
"Sooo, wanna let me know what that was about?" She asks and watches as a smile appears on his face.
"I love you." He blurts out.
Charlotte is stunned and silent for a few seconds which almost makes him think she won't reciprocate it until she's throwing her hands around him, engulfing him with a hug.
She rests her head on his shoulder until she lifts it slightly which gives her the space to be able to talk. "I love you too." She swears she feels his grip tighten around her waist once she's spoken.
