unedited you guys I'm so sorry this took so long! Had some reallllllly personal shit happen and just had to take a break. Thank you to anyone who is still reading & I really appreciate all of you! I hope you enjoy❤️

The Aerin packlands, to Mo, looked like a mix of farmland (minus the livestock) and just a rural spatter of houses of different sizes placed throughout the territory. In the snow, the scene was beautiful. Some of the houses were one story, others two. Some had fenced in yards, which to her seemed strange, seeing as almost everyone in the territory phased into a wolf and ran the land. Wolves were comfortable naked. Why the hell did they need fences?

A frown fell onto her face at that thought, because Orion's house had a fenced in back yard. For some reason, Mo didn't think about the fact that shifters were just like other races- she was sure they enjoyed their privacy just like everyone else. That made her giggle.

"What's funny?" Gianna asked from the backseat of the car.

Mo smirked as she turned to speak to him, then sent him a mischievous grin and a wink before saying, "Naked wolves... Well naked humans who happen to turn into wolves."

Orion stomped on the brakes as soon as the word naked fell from his mate's lips. Because they were just driving around the pack territory, no one had their seatbelt.

A scream fell from Mo's lips as she went flying. Gianni found himself being thrown against the back of Orion's seat, and a sound of shock fell from his lips before his face was planted into the driver seat.

At the same time that Gian did, Mahogany landed too. Hers just wasn't as rough. Orion had clotheslined her before she hit the dash. When she looked over a second later, the woman was completely tickled at the perplexed and angry look on his face. His eyes were a dark blue, and as wide as saucers. He opened his mouth to snap something at her, but Gianni and Mahogany's raucous laughter overtook anything that he could have said.

It was hilarious watching his face go from so angry and shocked to confused, before finally settling on mild amusement.

"Very funny. Ha ha," He muttered dryly before resuming his drive, "Put on your fuckin' seat belts. Children."

"How mad were you?" Mo giggled as she sat back and buckled her safety belt.

Gianni did no such thing, and only sat back grumbling about the headache he could feel coming on.

"Very," Orion vaguely offered, then tipped his head to the left, eyes on the road, "That's the main meeting area."

There was a large field in the direction he was pointing. There was a square, lifted stage of about 20 feet, and the tiered benches that comprised the silver bleachers were about eight rows high. Above the seats was a thick covering to protect the members of the pack from the sun if it was a sunny day. It was covered in ice from the recent snow that preceded Mahogany's arrival back to Orion's land.

"In the center of the land where the majority of everyone's houses are, there's a meeting house for colder weather. When we introduce you, we'll hold the meeting there. It'll be more intimate. We'll go there today too. "

Her stomach dropped at what Gianni had just interjected, and Mo bit her lip as she nodded to what he'd said.

She still wasn't sure when she wanted to meet them.  Mahogany was sure that her nerves and the feeling of dread that overtook her at the thought of meeting her pack could have been a bit overdramatic. Gianni, Adriel, baby Jonas, and Mariah had all liked her.  That meant the pack probably would as well. If she was good enough for the upper chain of command, a younger member, and an elder, she was hoping she'd be good enough for everyone else. That's what her Nee Nee and Uly had told her when she'd voiced her concerns before leaving.
