Students were now being escorted to detention in the library and Aurelia had been brought in with Saya due to the fact that she was a cover for the fact that Marcus was Aurelia's pledge but unfortunately for her that had landed her in detention
As Aurelia came in, she'd been dragged down by Chico into the seat beside him to which she only rolled her eyes as she put her feet on his lap leaning on the bookshelf behind her eyes closing lazily as Viktor desperately tried to catch her eye from his seat next to Petra
Marcus was brought in too shortly after still grasping his sketchbook in one hand "What is this?" he asked upon seeing the students at their desks
"Prolonged confinement designed for behavioural rectification" Petra explained
"Detention" Aurelia stated in a stage whisper to which Marcus' eyes flicked to hers frowning when he saw who she sat next to before dropping down in the seat next to Saya
"What did you do?" Marcus asked Saya still frowning as she just stared morosely at her kitana before death glaring Marcus into silence
Master Lin then came through the door flanked on both sides by monks
"Master Lin" Chico greeted as both Saya and Aurelia straightened up, Aurelia taking her feet off of Chico's lap "With all due respect this must be an overstep because I didn't do-" he stopped seeing the expression on Lin's face "Yeah fine, but if I'm getting hit for fighting shouldn't Willie be here too?"
Viktor raised his hand "All Viktor did was invite gothy girl to the dance" he said pointing at Petra
"All I did was punch a Nazi inbred debutante bi-" Petra ranted before being stopped by Lin's cane
Lin paused "You all committed the cardinal sin, getting caught" he stated before whacking some poor students legs off of a table and walking back to the front "Our goal here is turning petulant, greedy boys into the greatest warriors in the world, at three basic tenets, conformity, discipline, and commitment to one's own interest"
Saya brought her hand down on the table as a monk attempted to take her kitana, prompting Aurelia to hide her twin dagger up her sleeves before motioning to Marcus for him to hide his sketchbook "You want to keep that hand" Saya threatened the monk before Lin's cane came down on the table in front of her
"You chose your basic instinct, rivalry" he commented as he took her kitana, the monks setting about taking weapons off the other students "You will spend your weekend locked in this room, contemplating my disappointment" he announced as he left leaving the students locked in the room
The students immediately started to do their own things, Marcus writing in his journal, Saya fiddling with the strings of her hoodie, Viktor lifting a weight, Petra playing with her chewing gum, Chico using the library stamps on the desk and Aurelia who had decided to climb on top of the bookcases her hanging limply of the edge
"Hey European boy, you got the time?" Marcus joked when he saw Viktor's two watches as he did push ups beside him
Viktor huffed "Very funny Nancy boy, it is European style swatch, top American style" he boasted before walking away
"That's smart" Marcus admitted "in case you break the other two"
Chico stood up abruptly causing his chair to slam back on the ground "Fuck Lin, this bunch of bullshit, once I get away from this joint, I'm going to stick a machete up his ass"
"Now he pipes up" Marcus looked back at Chico lazily "45 minutes after he left"
Aurelia sat up her legs swinging off the edge of the bookcase "He's got a point hermano" she said in a sing song voice getting a wink from Marcus which she rolled her eyes at mockingly blowing him a kiss which he mimed catching and putting in his pocket
