Jema's POV
I kept on running and hiding kasi hindi ko alam kung tama ba na sinabi ko kay Ella the other day lahat ng tinago ko ng matagal. I like her so much that I need to like boys for me to divert what I felt for her. Kasi hindi tama and the more na naging close kami.. mas lumalim and I'm her best friend. Hindi ko alam kung kaya nyang tanggapin na ganito ako.
I even made stories about David but the truth was.. I was hiding going somewhere and binabad ko ang sarili ko mag aral sa library.. sa SB... Kasi I was hurt seeing them both ni Mike. Hindi ko alam kung may mukha pa ba akong maipapakita sa kanya.
Pero no choice ako sa mga Major subject namin kasi magkaklase kami talaga.
"Je.." Ella called me nasa room kami for our Major class at nakapasok ko lang.. sinasadya ko na sabayan ang Prof namin pumasok para wala syang chance na kausapin ako at umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya at umupo ako sa likod. Lumpiat naman ng upo si Mike sa tabi ni Ella. Mike gave her a smile.
Kunting tiis nalang Jema.. after mtapos tong sem nato.. graduate na kayo and hindi kana masasaktan makita sila. sabi ko nalang sa sarili ko kasi naging close talaga si Ella and Mike.
Every End ng class lumabas ako kasabay ng prof and pumasok ulet kasabay ulet ng proof and I saw naman Ella and Mike were busy talking to each other.
Alam ko para akong ewan sa ginagawa ko but this is my way not seeing them both kasi nasasaktan ako.
One day, Ella was waiting with me sa bahay.. kahit late na ako umuwe at nagsabi lang ako kina Mama na tinatapos ko ung Thesis Paper ko kasi malapit na defense.
"Jema... can we talk?" Ella asked and she seems waited ng matagal sa labas
"Bakit hindi ka pumasok sa loob and nilalamok kana ata dito" I said without looking at her.
"hmmm.. baka kasi matagal ka umuwe at nakakahiya kina Tita na asikasuhin pa ako kahit late na.. hindi rin nila alam na andito ako sa labas" Ella said
"tinatapos ko yong paper ko kasi at defense ko bukas.. okay lang ba na sa weekend na tayo mag usap? maaga ako babalik ng school para sa defense ko" I said to her and asked her to go home. I saw her Sighed.
"okay.. do you need help sa thesis mo? I can help sa preparation if you want" Ella offered.
"Nope.. okay na.. Mia is helping me naman" I said and nagbeso na ako sa kanya.
"Ingat ka pag uwe La.. sorry.. need na ng rest para bukas" sabi ko nalang and I saw her na bagsak ang balikat na umalis. aLam ko na may thesis defense din sya bukas and might be she waited for hours for me.. parang hindi ko kaya makipag usap about it.
