Jema's POV
I went back to SG pagka monday. After in the hospital, I never seen Ella again. I shouldn't been looking for her and she looks so happy with Mike naman. Though I still felt my heart beat so fast seeing her again.
Still the pretty Ella I knew.
After 3 months, I went back to Pinas. I was in the grab pauwe na sa amin. They didn't know na pauwe ako. Pagdating ko ng bahay.
"Hellooooo!! Sino naka miss saken??" sabi ko bigla sa kanila na seryoso nanood ng movie. Friday night at nasa bahay silang lahat.
"Ate!!!!!!"Sigaw ni Mafe at limingon na silang lahat
"Jema... bigla ang uwe mo" tanong naman ni Tatay
"Ayaw nyo po ba??" sabi ko nalang
"Ang dami mong dala" sabi naman ni Ate Jovy ng makita ang maleta ko.
"Kasi... I am staying na for good" I answered them
"Talaga Ate????" Niyakap ako ni Mafe pati sila Mama na din
"Opo.. nakapag-ipon naman na ako kahit papano at sobra ko kayong namiss" sabi ko nalang at niyakap sila ng mahigpit.
"Don't worry.. I also find new work na din here so hindi padin ako nabakante.. kaya medyo natagalan ang pag uwe ko kasi sinuguro ko na may work ako agad dito bago umuwe." Sabi ko at tuwang tuwa naman sila.
Madami pa kaming kwentuhan at mga tanong at ayon nga di na nila natapos ang pinapanood nila. Isa isa na din nila binuksan ang mga pasalubong ko sa kanila. After ng mahabang kwentuhan at late na nga umakyat na ako sa room ko.
"hmmm.. namiss ko tong room ko na to" I said at medyo lumwag na sya kasi napaayos ang bahay kahit papano.
"Lageh naman nililinis ni mama at pinapalitan ng bed sheets to kaya malinis lageh padin" sabi naman ni Mafe. Maya maya pa ay umalis na si Mafe at akoy nag ayos na din. Naligo muna ako bago nahiga sa kama.
I missed home.
I was looking at the ceiling and listening to the music again para makatulog. I don't know what's ahead of me but at least I am with my family again.
Monday Came and I was about to report to my new work. I entered a small office in Taguig and the company is a start up company and they offerered me 30% higher to my salary in SG kaya kinuha ko na agad. My SG rate + 30% higher dbah.. so why not.. if pangit naman lipat nalang ng ibang company.
Sinalubong ako ng HR agad for the orientation and pawelcome kit na inabot saken.
Mukhang okay naman here. I learned na the company has 200 employees all in all and was expanding in Asia as well. The HR led me to my table and the It was setting up my laptop.
"By the way, let me introduce you to our Manager for this department" then the HR knock the glass door.
I was froze seeing whose in front of me.
