Clove's POV

I wake up to the sound of two girls barging into my room, and Evie stirs beside me. Slowly, the memories of the sleepover and the events from last night come back to me. Rubbing my eyes, I try to make out who these early visitors are, and to my surprise, it's Lucy and Viktoria.

"Morning, sleepyheads," Lucy says with a bright smile as she walks up to the bed.

"Hey, uh, what time is it?" I ask, suddenly worried that we might have overslept.

"It's time for our spa day! We've arranged a day of pampering for the ladies of the bridal party," Lucy replies, sitting down on the bed. I notice she's wearing a cute pink satin robe, while Viktoria is dressed in an elegant cream-colored one.

"A spa day sounds amazing right now," I say, feeling the exhaustion of the previous night still lingering. Evie nods in agreement as we both crawl out of bed to get ready.

We walked into a room that felt like an oasis a warm, indoor pool greeted us, its surface scattered with rose petals. The space was bathed in soft, relaxing light, and the calming scents of essential oils filled the air, instantly soothing my nerves. The robes they had given Evie and I were just as stunning as theirs. Evie's lavender robe complemented her complexion beautifully, while mine was a flowy black satin that felt luxurious against my skin.

I quickly tied my hair into a messy bun and joined Lucy and Evie at a long table where they were getting their nails done. On the right side of the room, other ladies were enjoying facials. Viktoria, always poised, had already removed her robe and slipped into the warm water of the pool.

Following her lead, I set my robe down as well, revealing my body with the same confidence Viktoria had shown. I didn't mind I'd always been comfortable in my own skin. I stepped into the pool, the warmth of the water immediately easing the tension in my muscles. Swimming had always been one of my favorite things to do when I was younger, and as I moved through the water, I felt a deep sense of relaxation settling over me.

As we all relaxed in the warm water, the conversation started to flow naturally, moving from one topic to another. We chatted about everything from favorite vacation spots to the latest fashion trends. The atmosphere was light and easy, making it feel like we'd known each other for years.

"So, I'm really excited to finally meet the bride and groom tonight," Evie said, her voice full of anticipation.

"Ah yes, they really are a perfect match," Lucy replied with a smile. "You'll see what I mean they complement each other perfectly."

After a brief pause, Lucy looked over at Evie and I with a thoughtful expression. "Would you girls like to get married one day?" she asked.

The question hung in the air for a moment, and I found myself thinking about it seriously. I hadn't exactly had the best experiences with men in the past, but deep down, I knew I wanted to find the right person someday—someone who could understand me for who I truly was and not be afraid of the parts of me I kept hidden.

"I think... maybe," I said, carefully choosing my words. "It's something I'd want, but only if it felt right, you know? I haven't had the best luck in the past, but I'd like to believe there's someone out there who could really understand me."

Evie smiled, but there was a slight hesitation in her voice. "You know what? I don't know. I still feel so young. There's so much I want to do before I even think about marriage."
