I walk through the hallways of the Houston Dash club, leaving my teammates behind in the changing rooms. I stop in front of the office door I've been called into and take a deep breath in before opening the door.

"Elena, take a seat." Fran, the manager of the club, calls me in and I do as she says, sitting opposite her at her desk, fiddling with my hands.

"Hey, Fran, what did you need me for?" I ask, trying to seem like I wasn't nervous as hell right now.

"I'm going to be honest here. We've had you at the club for 8 years now and we admire you're loyalty very much, but unfortunately for our future plans we don't see you in them. You're free to stay, but it may lead to less game time." Fran explains.

"No, that's okay. I understand completely." I say, though the pit in my stomach makes me feel sick. I grew up at this club. Sure, I never thought I'd play for a club in America, but when I'd been given the opportunity to play football professionally, I had to jump at the occasion and snatch it before it was taken away from me. Now it really was being taken away from me.

"I'll show you the different offers you've gotten and you can choose which one. You can take your time or choose right now." I nod and Fran reaches into her drawer and grabs a file out. She places it infront of me and I open it, looking through the different clubs. I see a lot of different ones I've versed here in America, but none of them stand out to me until I skip to the last club - Arsenal.

"What's this Arsenal offer like?" I ask, tapping the paper.

"Jonas Eidevall has shown us a lot of enthusiasm towards you as a player, meaning they'll be more likely to give you game time. They're willing to pay good money for you and I think it'd be a great oppurtunity your career."

"I have always wanted to play in the WSL and I'll be back home in England." I think aloud. "I'll take it."

"I'm happy for you." Fran says and gives me a pen to sign the minimal things needed on the contract since I'd be doing the rest at the club.

"Thank you, Fran."
