Lamar's POV:

I felt a presence behind me, " you've been ducking and dodging me." A voice I didn't recognise said from behind me.

"The fuck." I turned around and came face to face with the guy from the club.

After the conversation we had out side the club we exchanged numbers but I haven't been responding to any of his text which are constant.

"I wasn't." Was my weak reply.

"What do you call leaving me on read for the past week."

"Not ducking and dodging."

"Smart mouth." He said with a chuckle.

We stared at each for a minute, it's like he's trying to memorize every part of my face, his eyes don't stay in place for too long.

"Why are you buying icecream at....," He looked at his watch, "2:56am."

"Destiny had a craving."

This is pretty normal for me now.

"Oh you guys live together."

"Nah, I have to take this to her house though."

"And you said you were not ready to be a parent but look at you stepping up, I'm proud of you."

Hearing him say that made my stomach do that weird flip shit it's been doing everytime I see his name pop up on my screen.

I cleared my throat, "Why are you out at this time of the night."

He looks like a street runner he had on an all black fit, he was probably or is still out here selling and just came into the store for something to drink.....or maybe he's stalking me.

Stalking? Really, not everyone is you Lamar.

But how did he know I was here?

Did the poor man say he came in here for you, you just paranoid because you are the STALKING kind.

"Business." Was his vague answer, dragging me out of my internal monologue.

"What kind of business?" I asked to be nosey.

"The kind that might get you killed for asking to many questions."

I rolled my eyes at his answer, I know a street nigga when I see one but that's none of my business let me get this icecream before this girl starts blowing up my phone.

I grabbed the icecream and walked to the checkout line and paid for it

I made my way to my packed car but before I could open it, a deep familiar voice said something from behind me.

"You keep hurting my feelings Pa."

A tiny grin made its way on lips..

"I know you didn't come in there for me so..." I shrugged unlock the door

"Keep playing with me."

"Or what mhmm." I tried to antagonize him.

"You don't want these grown man problems."

"What...." I whispered

He licked his lips, walking closer to me until my back was against my door.

"I can show you better than I can tell you." I saw a smile

We stared at each other  sexual tension clearly building.

"Can I breath now, you breathing  all my air." I gently pushed him back.
