Jamir's POV:

"Everything is accounted for, boss." Jabari said handing me an inventory list.

I looked over the list, meticulously paying attention to every single item ticked off the list.

"We ain't know it was your load I swear, please don't kill us." One of the thiefs who were caught red handed with crates full of our guns after they had been stolen from one of our warehouses pleaded.

"Lie again and see how fast I put a bullet up your ass." All our crates have a distinctive logo on them there's no way they didn't know.

"The next thing that should be coming out your mouth is the name of the person who helped you." Jabari said sending a menacing smile to the cowering boy in front of us.

His was death is inevitable, his friends already had gaping holes in the back of their heads.

"Please I don't wanna die, I'll do anything."

"That's still not a name." I bent down blankly staring at him.

He couldn't be older than nineteen and yet he let someone talk him into an early grave.

"I don't know him, the only thing I know is that he works on the ship."

Mothafuckas must think I'm a joke, like I won't kill them, all of a sudden our own people think they can steal from us.

I sighed looking around at the dead bodies, kids.

"Get him out of here, nobody hurt him and I want eyes on him." Jabari gave me a confused look but did as told handing the crying boy to one of the men we had with us relaying my instructions.

"And clean this shit up will you." He said stepping over the bodies

We walked out of the basement going back up to my office.

"When did we start leaving witnesses behind." He asked sitting down.

"I'm not a monster you know that right."

"The four bodies downstair say otherwise."

He got me there.

I chuckled, shaking my head.

Amaya walked in with a mean mug on her face, I knew this conversation was coming I just didn't want to have it.

"We need to talk." She said

"Talk." She looked from me to Jabari on the couch.

"You back fucking that bitch." She angrily said.

I could tell she was close to jumping over the table and chocking the out me.

She was gripping her hand so hard her knuckles were almost white.

I leaned be back in my chair watching her carefully, "Why she gotta be a bitch all of a sudden."

That's her supposed best friend after all.

She dry chuckled, "just answer the damn question."

"Yea and what about it."

"Are you serious right now, Lamar gave up everything to be with and this is how you repay his loyalty."  She seethed her tone dripping with disappointment.

"I'm  with Maya on this one, if you don't stop whatever you've got going with Shawty you gon' lose your family, ain't no pussy worth all that." Jabari who's been quiet all this time co-signed.
