Chapter 68: Rise Up

Suddenly, a white lion-like Pokémon stopped Giratina's Shadow Force with Wide Guard. The Pokémon roared at Giratina, provoking the dragon to shriek at it.

"You!" Omega clenched his teeth.

Ash, May, Pikachu, and Blaziken were also stunned by the arrival of the unfamiliar Pokémon. "Who's that Pokémon?" May admired it.

Ash pulled out his Pokédex, but the device had no information to identify the newcomer. "Its name is Solgaleo, and it's a Legendary Pokémon that inhabits Ultra Space," Omega glared.

"Solgaleo..." Ash and May were in awe.

"This Pokémon becomes one of your companions in the future, under the alias 'Nebby.' Even though you're not the Ash it is familiar with, it still recognized your call and traveled through space and time to rescue you," Omega glared. He could only assume that Roxas had something to do with Ash summoning Solgaleo.

"I become friends with Solgaleo?" an astonished Ash stood up. Pikachu jumped out of Ash's arms after it recovered some strength. It walked over to Nebby with curiosity.

"Pi?" Pikachu spoke to Nebby. Solgaleo looked at Pikachu and smiled, recognizing the mouse as its friend.

"That's incredible, it knows Pikachu too," May regained some energy after nearly depleting her life force with her earlier stunt. Ash grabbed the brunette's hand and pulled her up. He embraced her once she was on her feet. May smiled and stroked his hair, reminding Ash she wouldn't leave him.

"Let's end this, May," Ash shared his determination.

"I'm with you," May separated from Ash.

Dialga roared when it regained consciousness. The Temporal Pokémon walked over to Solgaleo to fight alongside the Sunne Pokémon. Omega and Giratina faced their enemies with equal resolve. "No matter how hard you try, you will fail," Omega taunted Ash and May.

"You don't get it, Omega. You can say anything you want, but we don't care. I know we are enough to stop you because we have each other," Ash argued.

"And as long as we have each other, there's nothing we can't overcome. You're about to learn that the hard way," May declared.

Omega gritted his teeth. He heard enough from his enemies. "I am going to annihilate everything, starting with you," he pointed. The orange-eyed trainer became enveloped in a dark aura, as did Shadow Giratina. He fixed his eyes on Ash and May with intense hatred for them. "Aura Sphere!" he commanded. Giratina charged up an Aura Sphere. The Renegade Pokémon held nothing back when it fired the move.

"Nebby..." Ash spoke.

"Dialga..." May said.

Dialga and Solgaleo unleashed their signature attacks. Dialga mustered its remaining power to counter with Roar of Time. The blue beam fired at Aura Sphere with all its hope and might. Solgaleo charged up Sunsteel Strike to fire a bright yellow orb of energy that resembled the sun. Sunsteel Strike and Roar of Time collided with the Aura Sphere to create a beam struggle. Ash, May, Pikachu, and Blaziken clenched their fists. The ground shook, and rocks rose due to the magnitude of the concentrated power. Neither side was willing to give up against the other. Despite the two Legendary Pokémon teaming up, Shadow Giratina's power-up allowed it to still hold its own. Ash and May knew the multiverse was lost if Solgaleo and Dialga could not overpower Giratina.
