Hey,

Bolna tha. But himmat nahi hui. Therefore the text.

Shehnaaz, I hadn't thought of you in a long time, but kal jab tu dikhi, tabse you are the only thought in my head.

I have this constant, narration in my head that says it wants to see you once more. I honestly don't know if thats true or enough.

But I would like to see you.

Do call me if that's okay with you.

Shehnaaz took a sharp breath as that happened. A stupid smile crept to her lips while her eyes wateted. That man was stupid.

She picked up the phone dialing his number. The thing about addictions is that you must heed to them or they kill, weaning off had not worked for them. They craved each other, in their very fabric. What they had was not love. It was something bigger, something scarier, something so powerful that nothing that came in between could survive. They were the plan of stars and everything that stood in between to be destroyed and now was the time for the stars to move the last of strings, their stories needed one last transformation.

"Sidharth?" She asked as he picked up the phone.

"Hey!" He answered just as he heard her voice, having picked up the call at a very later ring. Siddharth took a deep breath as he said those words, he knew his need to stay calm in the situation.
But his heart defied him, it was desperate, desiring things to run a pace that wasn't possible.

"Office me hai?", Shehnaaz asked. The words almost a desperate and deliberate attempt to start from an easy topic, while her heart raced. She was with the impossible.

"Yea! Abhi tak toh!" He answered. His head almost racing to hear more.

"Sidharth, I'll be home by 7 or 7:30 in the evening. When you reach the building, call me. I'll come downstairs to take you along!" She spoke, her eyes squeezing tight. She was letting him in, this time faster and clearer than earlier, but she hoped that the pace would not scare him or her.

Siddharth heard her speak those words. Awkward silence keeping them still. He could hear the dread of her heart.
"Shehnaaz, Ammm...." he spoke, thinking something or maybe just pretending to think. "I'll see to that. Incase I do find that to my schedule, I'll see you. "

"Yes. Ofcourse! " she replied. She knew him, his place, she knew that he was feared what what could become of them.

"Take care, Shehnaaz!" He added before disconnecting.

"Awiiee. What's with my nose! " Shehnaaz scrunched her eyes, smiling broadly at the baby as she tried to hold the mother's face in her eyes. Her tiny little fingers moving along her mother's face, her tiny hands as tried to grab the cheek or the nose or whatever they could of her mother, while she laughed. Her laughter filled in the room, so loud that it was all Shehnaaz could hear. That chirpy, giggling, that gummy smile along those rosy blushy cheeks of the baby, made Shehnaaz smile. This was her bliss, her home. She had always wanted a child, more than anyone around, she had wanted a child, and here she was, with her daughter.

"Baby, see. The kitty is moving....."Shehnaaz kept talking to the baby, playing with her. It had been an hour waiting for Siddharth like that, thinking that maybe he was stuck with work or something. The optimism would however slowly lead to doubt. "Mamma would be back in a second, please stay here!" Shehnaaz spoke leaving her daughter like that with two of her soft toys, as she ran to the room, picking up her laptop.
