Sidharth looked at her as she walked out of the room. Fresh as dew, well it was almost afternoon and in Mumbai there was no dew, ever.
"Bol?", she spoke looking at him, his eyes stuck at her, but playful. She knew he had something to say.
"Mil gyi khushi?" He spoke, pressing the lips within his teeth, trying to suppress the laughter.
She looked at him do that, despite all the assurances he could give and despite all the confidence on herself, she had gotten herself waxed and therefore the playful smirk on his face. "Tu nahi sudhar sakti!" He added a little later, passing her a small cup of tea that he had prepared for her.
"I can't help it, Sidharth. I need to have a bath before and after sex."
He smirked at her, forwarding his hand to her, as he straightened himself making space for her to sit on his lap.
"Yes, ma'am. Immediately!" He spoke, as she walked to him, taking a cue from act."Are you sure?" She asked looking at his lap and then his eyes.
"Yes? Why wouldn't I be?", Siddharth responded looking at her.
"Maybe I would weigh a little heavier!"
He raised his eyebrows hearing her speak, as he shook his head in disagreement. "Sit here!" He pulled her to his lap, making her sit across his thighs. "Pehle toh you do not look heavy. In fact I was going to ask you why haven't you put pregnancy weight. But abhi, it doesn't matter even if you had, or if you have put on your imaginary two kgs." He whispered into her ears.
Shehnaaz heard him speak, she looked at him. And moved her head in a nod, maybe she did understand his words.
He looked at her, a little discomfort visible on her face." Idr baitho!" He spoke pointing to the sofa, "Meri aur dekho!" He spoke, while Shehnaaz looked at him. She liked the way he talked, his words more sure, his language more commanding and sure.
"What is it? Do you not want to do it? Nahi karna, tab bhi its alright. We have a life time to do it. We'll do it the day you feel more comfortable! " he spoke as he held her hands in his hand, looking into her eyes.
Shehnaaz looked at him. She had words to say. But was that just discomfort. Would time ever the change the things she could hear in her head. " Sidharth, " she started to speak and then fell quiet.
"Bolo?", he replied, but stopped when he saw her look down. "Isme pressure kyu feel kar rahi h. Nahi man, nahi hoga. Its that simple, Shae. Tu kab se mana karne se darne lagi!" He spoke, pulling his leg up the sofa, "Movie dekh te hai, chess khelte hai. Jo bolegi woh karege. Ya fir best hai tu mere baal me tel laga de! " he spoke, the last line making her smile.
"I want to do it. " she replied.
"Fir?" He looked at her. That was weird, she said she had to wax and she had done that. She said she wanted to have sex, but then he could not understand the hesitation.
She looked at him, but stayed quiet. She was a lawyer, but this moment, she didn't know how to pen her insecurities out. But one thing, she knew, that she had to say things, for things to really work out between them. If she wanted to give their "thing" a real chance, communication was the key.
"Bolo gi?", he asked once again.
"Sidharth?", she spoke, looking into his eyes, as she lowered her hand to the hem of her t shirt, pulling that out, while he looked at her. Underneath the t shirt she was dressed in a very basic maroon bra, he was sure she had worn that normally to her work as well, but she looked breathtaking. Her brilliant estrogen primed creamy skin glowed with that color and he was sure she knew that. And that was the reason she would have bought that thing, even if that was for basic daily use, that would have made her feel sexy.
