"C-can you please s-stay?" Tae's voice trembles with a mix of desperation and vulnerability. He reaches out, hoping Chen will hold him, hug him, and give him the affection he longs for.

(Sigh) "Tae, I can't. I have to go. I have some work to do now," Chen responds, trying to keep his tone steady, though there's a hint of reluctance in his eyes.

"Please, just a few more hours. I-I need you," Tae pleads, his eyes filled with hope that Chen might change his mind.

"Tae, we've talked about this. We're bed buddies, nothing more. I had my time with you, but now that work is calling, I need to leave," Chen explains, his tone firm

"Is that all I am to you? Just a f-fuck buddy?" Tae's voice breaks, tears welling up in his eyes. "Did you never l-love me?"

"Tae, I never promised you anything more than what we've had. I'm not interested in a relationship. I'm just not into that."  Chen's face hardens, his expression unyielding.

Tae's heart sinks as he hears Chen's harsh words. "I thought there could be something more," he says softly, trying to keep his composure despite the pain.

Chen shakes his head with a hint of impatience.

"Well, you were wrong. I don't  love you . I told you from the start—this was just physical. I'm not sticking around for anything else."

"WHY YOU NEVER LOVE ME CHEN  " Tae's voice rises with anger and hurt

Chen's expression hardens,  his face flushed with rage

. "You think this is some fairy tale? I told you from the start—this was never supposed to be more than what it is. I'm not interested in playing house or whatever you're looking for!"

"You don't get to just walk out on me like this! You led me on, made me think there was something real here, and now you act like it's nothing?" Tae's anger flares up, and he shouts

Chen's eyes flash with fury. "I didn't lead you on! You're the one who misread everything. I was clear about what this was, and now you're acting all high and mighty because you got your feelings hurt? Get over it!"

"Please, don't do this. I know I messed up, but I didn't mean for things to end like this. I thought... I thought we could have something more." his face falls, his anger giving way to a profound sense of regret.

Chen glares at him, his anger still simmering. "No, Tae. We're done. This is over. I'm not doing this anymore."

As Chen turns to leave, Tae's voice cracks with desperation.

"Please, Chen, don't go. I made a mistake, but don't walk away from me like this. I need you to stay... just for a little longer."

Chen pauses for a moment, his back still turned. After a tense silence, he shakes his head.

"I'm done with this. I'm out of here."

With that, Chen storms out, leaving Tae alone in the room, his heart heavy with regret and the realization that his actions have led to this painful end. The silence that follows is thick with unspoken sorrow and the weight of lost possibilities.

As the door slams shut behind Chen, the room falls into a suffocating silence. Tae stands there for a moment, staring blankly at the space Chen once occupied. The echoes of their heated exchange still reverberate in his mind, and the weight of regret settles heavily on his shoulders.

He sinks onto the edge of the bed, his hands clutching at his hair as he tries to make sense of everything. The room, once filled with a glimmer of hope and affection, now feels stark and cold

But now, the reality of Chen's words cuts through the fog of his thoughts. "We're just bed buddies," Chen's harsh voice echoes in his mind. "I never promised you anything more."

Tae's heart aches as he reflects on where things went wrong. He remembers the times he tried to push for more, hoping Chen would eventually reciprocate his feelings. He recalls moments when he ignored red flags or tried to convince himself that things would change.

He slowly stands up, feeling the weight of his emotions with each step. As he approaches the window, he pulls back the curtain and looks outside , his eyes fixed on the moon, which hangs in the sky like a serene, glowing orb. It's breathtakingly beautiful, casting a gentle light over everything below. Yet, as he gazes at it, Tae can't help but feel a pang of irony.

"Hey there, moon," Tae begins softly, his voice tinged with a mix of sadness and hope.

"It's Strange, talking to you like this. But right now, you're the only thing that feels constant and true."

"so beautiful , yet so distant. It's surrounded by stars and the vast expanse of the night, but it's still alone up there."

He chuckles softly, the sound tinged with sadness. Tae takes a deep breath, the cool night air mingling with his thoughts.

Here I am, trying to find comfort in your light, and all the while, you're up there all alone. Maybe that's why I relate to you so much tonight."

The moon continues to shine with its silent grace, and Tae feels a bittersweet connection to it, as if the moon understands his pain and offers a quiet, unspoken support.

(softly) "Thanks for listening, moon. You're the only one who doesn't judge or abandon me. You just are. And maybe that's what I need right now—to accept things as they are and find peace in the silence."

As he walks back to the bed, the moon's glow continues to shine through the window, a reminder of the beauty and solitude that can coexist, and a beacon for Tae as he begins to heal and find his own path forward.

Tae, reflecting on their heated argument, realizes his mistakes and the depth of his feelings. He decides to reach out to Chen, apologizing sincerely and hoping for a chance to mend what was broken

In the stillness, Tae begins to drift off, his mind slowly easing into a more peaceful state. The pain of the evening is still present but is now tempered by a quiet acceptance and a growing sense of resilience. He knows that the journey ahead will be challenging, but the moon's steadfast presence offers a symbol of hope and perseverance....

Tae sleeps peacefully, unaware of the thorns that await him in his waking life. His dreams offer a brief escape from the underlying struggles and emotional pain he will face when he wakes.
