The untold Flashback~

Jungkook was panting, his muscles aching from the relentless drills. His sweat-drenched shirt clung to his skin, but his determination burned brighter than his exhaustion. It's being Two weeks into his rigorous training, he refused to falter.

As Jungkook pushed himself further, focusing on perfecting his form, Donghae’s sharp voice interrupted.

“Stop, Jungkook!” Donghae commanded, stepping forward, his expression unreadable.

Jungkook froze mid-motion, glancing at his mentor with a mix of confusion and anticipation, his chest heaving as he caught his breath.

Donghae wiped the sweat off his brow as he watched Jungkook push himself to the limit. His expression was stern, but there was a glint of pride in his eyes. He had seen countless trainees before, but Jungkook was different. He carried the weight of being a true-blooded alpha, a rare and dangerous lineage. Donghae knew that physical strength alone wouldn’t be enough to harness the immense power that came with it.

“Jungkook,” Donghae finally called out, his voice cutting through the heavy silence.

“You’ve been relentless in training your body, but strength isn’t just about muscle and endurance. It's  What lies inside you ,your Alpha needs to be tested too."

There was a pause, the tension in the air thickening.

“Being a true-blood isn’t just a gift; it’s a burden. Your alpha isn’t ordinary. It craves dominance, thrives on chaos, and is hungry for blood. Darkness runs through it. Today, we’ll see if you’re strong enough to control it or if it will control you.”

Donghae clapped his hands twice, signaling someone to bring in a cage. Jungkook’s brows furrowed as he noticed the small cage being carried in, covered with a thick blanket. The object was odd and out of place, and Jungkook couldn’t shake off a sense of unease as it was set down in front of him.

“Let’s test it,” Donghae said suddenly, breaking the tension. His gaze locked onto Jungkook. “First, let me ask you something.”

Jungkook straightened his posture, wary of the tone in Donghae’s voice. “Yes?”

Donghae’s next words sent a jolt through him. “Have you ever killed someone?”

The question hit like a cold slap. Jungkook blinked, momentarily stunned. “Killed...someone?” he repeated in disbelief. His chest tightened. Rude as he might be, Jungkook had never crossed that line. Violence wasn’t foreign to him, but taking a life? That was something he had never even considered—not of a person, not of an animal. He stayed far away from such thoughts.

“No,” Jungkook replied firmly, though confusion and discomfort were evident in his voice.

Donghae chuckled lightly, the sound unsettling. “Alright, then. Let’s see.” With a swift motion, he pulled the blanket off the cage, revealing what was inside.

Jungkook froze. Inside the cage sat a dog one he immediately recognized. It was the same dog Tae  play with during their picnic day. While Jungkook hadn’t particularly liked the dog back then, the sight of it here now struck a nerve.

Donghae’s voice cut through the air. “Your task is simple: kill it.”

Jungkook’s stomach churned. His fists clenched instinctively as he stared at the dog, who is scared but he recognized Jungkook and looked up at him with innocent, trusting eyes.

For a moment, Jungkook could hear Tae's laughter from that picnic day echoing in his memory. This wasn’t just a test of strength it was a test of morality. And it was far darker than anything Jungkook had imagined.
