So what exactly happened that day- ( 2 years ago) Flashback ~
Tae was gently stroking Jungkook's hair when the door suddenly opened. Tae looked up and saw Luna standing at the doorway. Startled for a moment, he felt a bit uneasy, but Luna signaled him to stay seated. He hesitated but decided to remain in place. Luna walked in slowly and sat down in front of him, her expression unreadable. The room grew quiet, filled with a silent tension as Tae wondered what Luna had come for, his fingers still brushing through Jungkook's hair absentmindedly.
Luna looked at Tae with a softness in her eyes, her voice gentle yet carrying the depth of her emotions.
"After me, you're the only person Jungkook feels comfortable enough to be around... to sit quietly with, without feeling restless,"
she said, her gaze shifting briefly towards Jungkook, who was still peacefully asleep beside Tae. Tae felt a wave of warmth
He managed to pull a smile, though it didn't fully reach his eyes, and after gathering his courage, he asked, his voice barely above a whisper,
"But... how did Jungkook end up here with me?"
Luna let out a deep, thoughtful sigh, her fingers gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face as she tried to find the right words as she begins
"We had gone to Jungkook's grandmother's house for a function, but the event ended quite early. Throughout the function, Jungkook wasn't really talking to anyone. When it was over and we were heading back home, Jungkook suddenly said,
"Mom I want to go to Tae's house." I was kinda startled with his request
So I suggested that he could go later or maybe meet Tae tomorrow, but he insisted, "No, I need to go now, now, now."
I tried to convince him but he didn't listen to me ,
"Okay, can't you wait just a little? You didn't take your nap and also we will go later " But he was adamant, repeating,
"No, I have to go now."
And so, we ended up heading to your house right away.
We reached your house and knocked on the door, but you didn't open it. We kept knocking for about five minutes, but still, no response. Then, all of a sudden, Jungkook pressed the door handle, and to our surprise, it was unlocked. So, we walked inside the house.
So, as we walked inside, we saw that a glass pieces was shattered on the floor ahead of us. The pieces were scattered everywhere, and the house was eerily quiet. It felt unsettling, like something had happened just before we arrived.
Jungkook called out for you, but there was no response. He started looking around, checking the kitchen, then your room, but you were nowhere to be found. After a while, I suddenly heard Jungkook's voice call out, "Mom!" The sound of his voice was so intense, it sent chills through my entire body. It was filled with something I couldn't quite place fear, maybe desperation.
When I entered, I saw you lying on the floor, and Jungkook was crying. He shouted through his tears,
"Mom! Mom! Look at Tae, what happened to him?"
His eyes were filled with fear and helplessness as he sobbed. I quickly shook Jungkook to comfort him, but when I looked into his eyes, I was astonished to see they had turned a bright green, as if some power within him had awakened.
