Taehyung, with trembling hands, picked up the glass of water and started walking slowly. His hands were shaking so much that he couldn’t control them. He couldn’t figure out if what he was about to do was right or wrong, but even then, he couldn’t stop himself.
Taehyung hands shook as he handed her the glass of water, his heart racing, a wave of doubt crashing over him.
She looked at him, her eyes narrowing as she noticed the tension in his face. “Are you okay?” she asked softly, concern lacing her voice.
Tae forced a smile, his voice strained as he replied, “Yes, yes, I’m fine. Just… drink the water.” Inside, a battle raged, his guilt and desperation colliding, but outwardly, he tried to maintain control.
As the glass neared her lips, Taehyung's heart pounded in his chest, his breath catching in his throat. Without thinking, his trembling hand shot out, knocking the glass from her grip. The sound of shattering glass echoed through the room as water splashed across the floor.
She stared at him, her eyes wide with shock and confusion. "What... what just happened?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Tae pulse raced, his thoughts a chaotic blur. He could feel the weight of the moment pressing down on him, the enormity of what he had almost done. His hands trembled, and though he wanted to speak, the words wouldn’t come. His guilt and fear swirled in his chest, suffocating him. How could he explain what had just passed through his mind? How could he even admit it to himself?
Taehyung, struggling to find the right words, finally managed to speak, his voice barely steady.
"I-I saw something in the glass... that's why I s-stopped you." His gaze was fixed on the water pooling on the floor, unable to meet her eyes.
She looked at him, confused and suspicious. "Saw something? What do you mean?" she asked, her tone sharp. Her eyes searched his face for answers.
Tae quickly shook his head, panic rising in his chest. "No, no... I didn’t put anything in it. I swear."
"But I never said that you put anything in it Don’t lie to me!" she snapped, her voice trembling with fear as she clutched her stomach protectively.
"What did you do?!"
Tae heart sank as he saw the panic in her eyes. He hadn’t put anything in the glass, but the thought had crossed his mind. The weight of that realization crashed down on him, and he couldn’t bear to look at her anymore.
The tension in the room was suffocating as she stood Up, her face flushed with anger. Her hands were shaking as she pointed a finger at Tae, who stood frozen in place, guilt etched all over his face.
"I thought you were a good person" she spat, her voice filled with venom. "But you’re not. You’re just as bad as everyone say's , Maybe even worse."
Taehyung tried to speak, but the words caught in his throat. He could feel the weight of her accusation pressing down on him.
She took a step closer, her eyes blazing with fury. "Do you even understand what you were about to do? What you thought of doing? I came here to talk, to settle things. But now... now I see who you really are."
"You were about to take the life of an unborn child, ! Do you even feel anything?" she shouted, her voice filled with anger
"Didn't it cross your mind for a second? Your selfishness put an innocent life in danger!"
Tae opened his mouth, but she cut him off, her voice rising. "Don’t you dare make excuses! You think you can take My place by hurting me? By trying to get rid of me? You’ve crossed a line."
