The cold winds whispered through the bare trees, the frost settling in as winter held its grip on the world. The seasons came and went, yet the chill of this winter felt heavier, almost as if it carried the weight of countless days.

It wasn’t just days, though years had passed, seven winters to be exact. The seasons had turned over and over, but somehow, even after seven long years, but once again we found in the heart of winter, where the cold feels both familiar and new."

Seven long years had passed, slipping by in a haze of blood and duty. Jungkook barely noticed, or perhaps he chose not to. Those years were a storm of violence and survival, each day blurring into the next. In that time, Jungkook had done the unthinkable eliminated countless lives, from the defenseless cries of newborns to the feeble last breaths of the elderly.

His duty was clear: approach the smaller packs, offer them the terms of allegiance, and if they refused, wipe them out completely. No exceptions. His hands were stained with the lives of those who dared to resist. He carried out his orders with precision, each kill becoming a haunting reminder of the path he was choose to walk. Victory followed him like a shadow, as did his undefeated record in countless underground fights.

But amidst the carnage, there was one fight that etched itself into his soul a battle that would haunt him forever. The day Jungkook had to face Mark, the one person who had stood beside him through thick and thin, and take his life. That fight wasn’t just about strength it's about test his mentality his patience...

Jungkook could still vividly recall the moment he and Mark stood face to face in the arena, the dim light casting eerie shadows around them. Mark was smiling, that same carefree smile that Jungkook had grown accustomed to, but this time, it felt different almost resigned.

Jungkook stood frozen, his face etched with shock and disbelief.

"Mark?"

Mark tilted his head slightly, his smile unwavering.

"Let’s fight, Jungkook," he said, his tone light but carrying the weight of inevitability.

"No... Mark, no," Jungkook muttered, stepping back.

He knew the fight’s purpose one would live, and the other would die.

The tension was broken by a voice echoing through the arena.

"Player Jungkook, you have a call."

He turned, his hand trembling as he grabbed the receiver. The voice on the other end sent a chill down his spine. It was Donghae.

"Jungkook," Donghae began, his tone calm but firm.

"This is the final test of your resolve, of your mentality. Do you remember what I told you When you grow attached, you must learn to let go. Mark is your challenge. Killing him will prove your resolve. Jungkook You've already killed countless of peoples without hesitation, so why falter to kill one more ? Or have you let attachment cloud your judgment?"

Jungkook's silence was heavy, but Donghae continued, his tone sharp.

"I warned you on the very first day-do not attach yourself to anyone. My reason for assigning you a partner was to teach you that attachment is dangerous. It's human nature to connect, but in this world, it is a weakness. You attached yourself to. Mark,   and now you must face the consequence.

His words grew colder, cutting through Jungkook's hesitation.

"The purpose of making Mark your partner was to prepare you. One day, as Head Alpha, you may face betrayal, even from those closest to you. You must have the strength to eliminate them without a second thought. This is your test, Jungkook-to prove your mentality is unshakable."
