And Jungkook Ran...

***********************

The elevator was taking too long too long for someone who felt the weight of the world crashing onto him.

Without a second thought, he turned and bolted for the stairs, taking two at a time, heart pounding not just from the effort, but from something deeper ...

By the time he reached the lobby, breath ragged and hand still bleeding, the Head Alpha was already coming and surrounded by important people, cloaked in authority and control.

"Jungkook!" the Head Alpha called, voice sharp and commanding.

"Where are you going?"

But Jungkook didn’t stop. He didn’t even look back.

His ears caught the judgmental whispers.

“That’s the next Head Alpha?”

“Look at his hand… Is that blood?”

“He looks like a delinquent, not a leader.”

Eyes followed him like knives, but nothing mattered not their words, not their stares, not even the growing disappointment and anger in the Head Alpha’s gaze...

He didn’t respond.
He didn’t care.

He reached the parking lot, slammed the door of his car, blood smearing the steering wheel, and with one sharp turn of the key, the engine roared to life.
He was gone.

The city blurred past in streaks of light and shadow, but Jungkook’s eyes were locked on the road, jaw clenched, breath uneven.

Then the voice came.

His Trueblooded Alpha’s voice.

Cold. Deep. Twisting through his mind like smoke curling in a sealed room.

“Hey boy… why are you running for that lowlife Omega?”

Jungkook gripped the steering wheel tighter. Knuckles pale. Lips sealed. He didn’t answer.

“You thought… just because you killed his mate, he’ll live with you?”

The voice laughed a cruel, echoing sound that had no place in the living world.

“Foolish. Foolish little boy. You don’t understand anything. Not about bonds.. Not about what it means to be mated"

Each word was a blade..

Jungkook Didn’t argue.
Didn’t even blink.

The car sped faster. The world outside the window melting into chaos. His silence was louder than any scream.

The moment the hotel appeared in sight, Jungkook didn’t wait for the engine to cool or the doors to lock he left the car right there, door ajar, and bolted inside.

His boots pounded against marble floors as he sprinted through the lobby. He punched the lift button, once twice again. It blinked red: busy.

He didn’t wait.

With a sharp breath, he turned and flew towards the stairwell, skipping steps, his breath ragged, each floor taking more out of him but he didn’t stop.

By the time he reached the hallway. He could already hear it chaos. Movement. Muffled voices. Blood.

He shoved the door open.

And stopped.

The room was a mess of white coats, red stains, and panic. Taehyung was on the bed..

The sheets were soaked, the nurses scrambling, the aides trying to hold pressure where they could.
