'Jungkook, are you ready to lose your sanity?'
**************
Jungkook took a deep breath, his mind tangled in conflicting emotions. as he say ,
"I wanted to lose, but... at the same time, I don't want to ."
His own words left him puzzled, struggling with a contradiction he couldn't untangle. The situation felt beyond him, like a question he'd never prepared for, one that didn't belong in the syllabus.
[Sensi = Master]
As Jungkook looked toward his Sensi , he caught Donghae chuckling.
Donghae's gaze met Jungkook's, and he said,
"You know, Jungkook, at this point you've managed to catch my attention,
he said, his tone laced with an undeniable authority.
"Every time I've posed this question, people have either agreed completely or rejected it outright. But you... you're different. You didn't just give a simple yes or no; you balanced between both, as if you're ready to step forward, yet hesitant to commit."
He leaned in a little closer, his gaze sharp and assessing.
"That contradiction... it's impressive, I'll admit. Not many have the courage to reveal both sides like that. It shows me that there's more to you than what meets the eye. A certain depth a potential, perhaps that others lack."
He studied Jungkook for a moment,
"You remind me of myself, actually,"
he admitted, his voice lower, almost thoughtful.
"When I was younger, someone once asked me the same question. And, like you, I was torn between two choices, feeling the same conflict you're feeling now."
His words lingered in the air, carrying a weight that demanded attention, his subtle dominance leaving Jungkook with no choice but to wonder about the true intentions behind them.
He looked at Jungkook with an understanding gaze, nodding slowly as he echoed Jungkook's words,
"Want to lose, but afraid of losing."
Then in the soft glow of the afternoon, Donghae's gaze shifted slowly towards the sky, where the faint outline of the moon could still be seen against the fading daylight. His movements were measured, calm, as if each st okep held its own purpose.
He looked again at Jungkook, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.
"Jungkook, have you ever thought about the moon?" he asked, his voice quiet yet carrying a hint of intrigue.
Jungkook blinked, slightly taken aback by the unexpected question. "The moon?" he echoed, a touch of confusion in his tone.
Donghae nodded slowly, his gaze drifting back to the faint outline of the moon still visible in the late afternoon sky. He seemed to be lost in thought for a moment before speaking again, his voice carrying a subtle, almost philosophical tone.
"Yeah," he continued, a faint hmm playing on his lips.
"It comes out at night. But... have you ever wondered where it gets its light from?"
Jungkook considered the question, the simplicity of it sparking a quiet curiosity.
"Well, it gets it from the sun," he replied, glancing at Donghae to see his reaction.
Donghae's lips curled into a smile, but there was something unsettling about it a hint of darkness that made Jungkook's skin prickle.
His smile wasn't warm or friendly; it was sharp, almost predatory, as if he knew something that Jungkook didn't. The calmness in his eyes only made the eerie smile more unnerving, giving the impression of someone who enjoyed holding secrets close.
