Taehyung was practically glowing with excitement as he booked a cab for his journey to the mansion. His heart raced with anticipation, and a smile never left his face.

All the way, his thoughts were filled with memories of Jungkook—the little boy and his memories

But amid the joy, a faint shadow crept into his mind. His thoughts drifted back to the last time they'd spoken.

"We will meet again, but this time completely Strangers ," Jungkook had said. The words lingered like an unanswered question.

Stranger's? What did he mean by that? Taehyung had never truly understood, and despite countless attempts to decipher Jungkook's cryptic statement, he always came up empty.

He shook his head, brushing the thought aside. "It's just my overthinking," he muttered to himself. His excitement was too strong to be dampened by doubts.

"I can't wait to see him," Taehyung whispered, his smile growing wider as

he imagined Jungkook's face. Whatever the words had meant, it didn't matter now. Jungkook was back, and that was all Taehyung cared about.

Taehyung arrived at the grand mansion, greeted by a butler who offered a polite nod.

"Mr. Kim, this way," the butler said, leading him through the familiar halls. Despite all the years that had passed, the mansion looked almost unchanged—elegant and pristine as ever.

As they reached the doors of Jungkook's room, Taehyung hesitated for a moment. He couldn't explain it, but a strange unease settled in his chest, similar to how he'd felt on his first day working here. Brushing it off, he knocked on the door and entered.

When tae enter the room was exactly the same as he remembered, from the warm lighting to the dark wood furniture. His gaze swept across the space before landing on the octuple-seater sofa.

He froze.

Seated there was a man with an impressive, muscular build—broad shoulders, defined arms, and a striking presence. His physique was almost overwhelming, giving off a commanding aura that exuded confidence and power. Taehyung was momentarily shocked. Was this really Jungkook?

The man's dark eyes lifted, meeting Taehyung's gaze. His features were sharper, more mature, but unmistakably familiar.

"Taehyung" Jungkook’s voice was deeper now, steady and sure.

Taehyung blinked, trying to process the transformation.

"Jungkook?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, disbelief evident in his tone.

Jungkook nodded,That simple gesture was all it took. Taehyung’s breath hitched as emotions overwhelmed him—joy, and an undeniable sense of longing.

He  ran straight toward Jungkook. His feet barely touched the ground as he closed the distance between them.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung's voice cracked with emotion.

Jungkook was still seated on the sofa when Taehyung practically threw himself into his arms, wrapping his arms tightly

The impact caused Jungkook to lean back slightly, but he didn't care. His hands instinctively came up, gripping Taehyung's back as he pulled him in just as tightly.

"You've changed so much,"

Taehyung whispered against his shoulder, his voice trembling.

"But you're still the same to me—my little whiny Jungkookie"

Jungkook let out a simple "hmm," his voice low and unreadable.

For a moment, everything seemed peaceful, but as Jungkook took in Taehyung's scent more closely, a subtle shift hit his senses. There was unmistakable mix in the fragrance—a hint of an alpha's scent mingled with Taehyung's natural sweetness.
