⏳Small Checkup⏳

    A couple weeks went by and Anh had started to adjust to his new life. He even started to call Hwa and Joong, mom and dad. He called  the others his uncles. As he became more and more adjusted, the more he started to show his true personality. He was curious and hyperactive. They had also found out he had somewhat of a speech impediment. He would stutter on his words very often or had trouble saying certain words.
    Hongjoong woke up the next day to Hwa snuggling with Anh. They both looked so peaceful. He looked at them with awe. Joong bent down and kissed Hwa on the head and before kissing Anh's head too. He got up quietly, trying to not disturb them.
    Hongjoong went out to go and get some pastries for Anh and Hwa. When he got back, he saw Hwa sat up in bed with Anh sitting on his lap. They were playing together. Joong smiled at how cute they were. Anh heard the door close and turned around, a big smile on his face. "Appa!" He said in a happy tone. Hongjoong smiled, his heart filled with joy.
Hong came over and sat on the bed, pulling Anh into his lap. He gently hugged him and rubbed the back of his head. Hwa laid his head on Hongjoong's shoulder, holding his arm. Hong wrapped his arm around Hwa, holding him as well. 'This is the most perfect family...I wouldn't trade them for the world' Hongjoong thought to himself.
Months went by...It was April now and Anh was loving his new life, forgetting his past almost completely. He'd run around, playing with his new family. Occasionally he would get a little hurt, like a scrape. When he fell, Jongho would have to treat it. Recently, Hwa would regularly be found looking out at the sea, like he used to.
One day, Hong was taking Anh out onto the deck to go play when he saw Hwa looking over at the water in the distance, spacing out. Joong saw Wooyoung on the deck and put Anh down, telling him to go play with uncle Wooyoung. Anh happily ran over to Wooyoung, like he always would. Hong turned and walked to Hwa, gently putting his hand on Hwa's back, snapping Hwa out of his trance. "Everything okay?" He asked softly. "yea...it's just that...I feel like something's wrong." Hwa replied. "What do you mean?" "...I don't know...I know that we are not in danger...but something just seems off."Hwa muttered, holding onto the rail tightly.
Hong didn't really know what to do to help Hwa. He looked back and saw Anh playing with Wooyoung. He couldn't help but smile and giggle to himself. That got Hwa's attention. He looked at what Hongjoong was looking at, his face growing soft. "Wooyoung really loves kids." Hwa said softly. "He was always like that. Kids always give him cute aggression. Sometimes he pants like a dog from cuteness overload." Hong said. Hwa laughed. "Pant?" "Ya, I don't really know any other way to explain it than that." Hong said. He looked at Hwa, who was looking at him. Their eyes met. "I'm so glad I have you in my life." Hong muttered. Hwa blushed for a bit, looking away and mumbling the same thing. HJ laughed "What?" Hwa got flustered. 'maybe I got Hwa's mind off of whatever was bothering him...maybe it was nothing and his mother instincts were just to high right now...he's just trying to make sure his child is safe.' Hongjoong thought to himself.
