My First Time With the Man in the Lab Coat

A knock comes at the door. I open my eyes and see that I am in the room in the castle. How did I get here? I sit up and my head is very dizzy. I take a few deep breaths and I can stand. There is a small piece of paper on the floor, which I pick up and read.

Alice,

Today you will be tested. It will last most of your day. Wear something comfortable. Tell Eli that you will be going first thing to the experiment room. You will be fed there so do not fret. Listen to what the man says and answer anything he asks you, truthfully.

I smile slightly. I will be able to wear my own clothes! I look under the bed and sigh a sigh of relief. They are still here. I reach in and pull my shoes and clothes out. In about two minutes, my clothes are on. I feel so comfortable. I'm really glad they are allowing me to wear this on my first day of experimentation. I walk to the door and knock three times. The door opens and I am greeted by Eli as the soldier walks away.

"Are you okay?" Eli asks me looking me up and down.

"Yeah," I answer honestly, "what happened last night?"

"You fainted and wouldn't wake up," Eli says looking down at the ground.

"That's not all is it?" I press on.

"Your eyes opened once and the were full of bright light for a few seconds and then the light stopped and so your eyes are all purple now," Eli confesses all too quickly.

"How did I get here?" I ask.

"I'm surprised you aren't concerned about what happened last night," Eli says, beginning to walk.

"Well, too many impossible things have happened to me recently that I simply take them in and don't make much of a fuss," I say, following him.

"Okay, well if you must know, I carried you," Eli says as we take a right turn down a hall.

"Really?" I ask, dumbfounded.

"Yeah," Eli answers, "it wasn't much. You are pretty light."

"Thanks," I say. I can't believe he carried me. I look him up and down as we walk.

"Why are you dressed so nicely?" I ask. I think I know the answer already.

"I am going to talk to one of the girls that want to be my wife," Eli answers sternly.

"That'll be fun," I say, trying to sound happy, "Which one?"

"The fire secret," Eli says rather glumly. I recall the slutty redhead and her skin tight dress showing off the majority of her body. I shake off the image and change the subject.

"I, um, have to go to the experiment room right now," I announce, remembering the note. Eli nods and we walk pass three doors before stopping at a door with the castle code of arms on the door. My stomach drops. I am suddenly very scared.

"You can do this," Eli comforts me. He steps up to the door and knocks twice. The door opens and we see a man in a long white lab coat. He has bottles in the air and goggles on his face. The bottles have very colorful liquids inside.

"Hold on," the man tells us as one bottle slowly pours into another. Once the two liquids touch each other, they explode. I cover myself, expecting to be blown up or burned, but nothing happens. I look up and see a light blue force field around the still exploding liquids.

"Sorry," the man says walking to us, "you must be Alice."

I nod. Eli gently pushes me towards the strange man. I can hear the buzz of electricity magnify in the room.
