"So let me get this straight," Nathan begins, "you were going to be a possible Queen and marry Eli but you both decided not to, a kid you found has made this forest as a baby and saved Jack's life, and you are not also an electric secret?"
"Correct, my friend," I answer with a smile on my face.
"Could you show us the new secret?" Liz asks me with wide eyes.
"I guess," I say, standing, "with what?"
"Simple things first," Jack instructs, "turn the light in here off."
I close my eyes. I can hear it. I can feel it. I open my eyes and I can see it. Beautiful lines of light zooming everywhere. I turn my attention to the light bulb and think if absorbing the light from it. The electricity. Quickly, we are in the dark. I look around can see everything still, only in black and white.
"Hey," I say, "I can still see everything."
Milo holds up two fingers.
"How many fingers am I holding up?" he asks looking right at me.
"Two," I answer with out hesitation.
"Turn the lights on," Jack instructs. I obey and slowly push some of the energy lines back into the light bulb.
"Make an electric ball."
I rub my hands together and around the room, sucking in the lights and pushing them together forming a ball in my hands. Once I feel like I can control it, I hold out the ball in one hand. Purple lights buzz and hiss as the clash together, leaving sparks. I feel a little weak so I send the ball slowly away and rub my eyes. Once they are open again, the lines are gone.
"Your eyes were glowing purple," Tara notices.
"Oh right, I forgot to tell you that happens," I reply, sitting back next to Cole and Eli.
"Alice, look at me," Juno demands as he stares at me. I obey and Jack looks at me as well.
"What?" I ask their confused faces.
"Your eyes are nearly fully bright green," Juno announces to me and the rest of the gang. Green? Why green? Suddenly, bright white light fills my eyes. I look up and feel around me and can tell I am still in Jack's room. What is going on? I can hear murmurs around me and I suddenly feel my body hit something, most likely the ground. I can feel my eyes close as I try to focus on the murmurs.
"Alice, can you hear me?"
"If you can hear us, squeeze my hand."
"This is just what happened last time with her purple eyes."
"Her eyes were nearly all green this time."
"Well, we need her to wake up."
"Last time she slept until morning. I don't think she's walking up any time soon."
"What is happening to her?"
"I want to go home."
"I do too..."
Wake up, Alice. Wake up. Your friends need you.
"Guys, Alice is waking up."
My eyes slowly peel open.
"Alice," Juno begins with a sigh, looking down on me, "you're alive."
"Yeah," I say, forcing myself up, "What happened?"
"Your eyes did the thing again," Nathan explains. I rub my eyes and stand. My head is still dizzy, but I manage to stand on my own.
"Is there something you aren't telling us?" Liz asks, "I thought we talked about keeping secrets from us."
