Michaella's POV

The morning sunlight filtered through my curtains, casting a warm glow over my room. I had barely slept, a mix of nerves and excitement buzzing in my veins. Today was a big day—my first interview since the book launch, and later, an appointment to buy my very first Birkin bag.

After my usual morning routine, I stood in front of my closet, carefully choosing an outfit that would make me feel confident. I opted for a white corset top, paired with a tailored suit, and my favourite pair of nude pumps. Polished, professional, but still very much me.

As I applied the finishing touches to my makeup, a wave of nervousness washed over me

As I applied the finishing touches to my makeup, a wave of nervousness washed over me. The interview was scheduled for 10 AM at the studio, and although I had done interviews before, this one felt different. More personal. More intense.

I took a deep breath and checked the time—8:45 AM. It was time to go.

The drive to the studio was quiet, with the city just waking up. When I arrived, I was greeted by the show's producer, who led me to the green room. I sat there, trying to steady my breathing, sipping on a glass of water as I mentally rehearsed my answers.

"Ms. Michaella, we're ready for you," a production assistant said, popping her head into the room.

I nodded, stood up, and followed her to the set. The host, a sharp-looking woman in her mid-40s, greeted me with a smile.

"Michaella, it's such a pleasure to have you here. Congratulations on your book launch," she said, extending her hand.

"Thank you so much," I replied, shaking her hand. "I'm excited to be here."

The cameras rolled, the lights brightened, and we were live.

"Welcome back, everyone," the host began, turning to face the camera. "Today, we have a very special guest—Michaella, the brilliant mind behind the book that's taken the literary world by storm. Michaella, your book has been described as both heart-wrenching and inspiring. What motivated you to write such a deeply personal story?"

I smiled, trying to project calmness. "Well, the story has been in my heart for a long time. It's a reflection of my own experiences, but also the experiences of so many others who have dealt with love, loss, and the complexities of relationships. I wanted to create something that felt real and honest, something that readers could see themselves in."

The host nodded, leaning in slightly. "The emotions in your book are so raw. There were moments when I found myself tearing up. How did you manage to tap into those feelings? Were they drawn from personal experiences?"

I knew where this was going. The subtle probing into my private life. But I was prepared. "Emotions are universal," I said, choosing my words carefully. "We all go through pain, joy, love, and heartbreak at some point in our lives. For me, it was about channeling those feelings into the characters, allowing them to express what many of us might find difficult to put into words."
