Michaella adjusted her navy blazer, glancing at her reflection in the restaurant's glass door. Today was important: a business meeting about her upcoming podcast, "RaiseUp," which focused on self-development and self-love. She hoped this meeting would open new doors and bring fresh opportunities.

As she entered the bustling restaurant, her best friend and cousin, Pamela, waved her over from a table near the window. With her warm smile and supportive nature, Pamela was Michaella's rock. She was excited about the podcast and had been instrumental in helping Michaella get it off the ground.

"Michaella, you look amazing!" Pamela exclaimed as Michaella approached. "Ready for this meeting?"

"Absolutely," Michaella replied, her confidence bolstered by Pamela's enthusiasm.

They settled into their seats and discussed the agenda for the meeting while waiting for their business associate to arrive. Michaella felt a sense of excitement mixed with nerves. This podcast was her passion project, a platform where she could share her journey and inspire others to find self-love and personal growth.

Their business associate, Mark, arrived shortly after, and they dove into a lively discussion about marketing strategies, potential guests, and ways to expand the podcast's reach. The conversation was productive, filled with brainstorming and creative ideas.

"We could collaborate with influencers who focus on mental health and self-improvement," Mark suggested. "And maybe even organize live events or workshops."

"That's a great idea," Michaella agreed. "I want 'RaiseUp' to be more than just a podcast. I want it to be a community where people feel supported and inspired."

As the meeting progressed, Michaella felt a sense of accomplishment. They had covered a lot of ground, and the future of "RaiseUp" seemed bright. After Mark left, Michaella and Pamela decided to stay a bit longer to celebrate their productive meeting.

They ordered drinks and continued to chat about their plans. Pamela was mid-sentence when a handsome stranger approached their table. He had a charming smile and an air of confidence.

"Hi, I couldn't help but notice your energy and positivity," he said, addressing Michaella. "You have a captivating personality and are incredibly beautiful. May I know your name?"

Michaella felt a blush rise to her cheeks. "I'm Michaella," she replied politely.

"Nice to meet you, Michaella. I'm Alex," he said, extending his hand. She shook it, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the direct compliment. "I know this might seem forward, but I would love to take you out sometime."

Michaella hesitated, unsure how to respond. She appreciated the compliment but felt no interest in pursuing anything with Alex. "Thank you, Alex, but I have to kindly decline."

"Are you in a relationship?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.

"No, I'm not in a relationship," Michaella replied, her voice tinged with sadness. "It's just... I'm in love with someone I can't unlove, but I also can't be with, and it's killing me. I can't be with that person, but I want to."

Pamela looked at Michaella with a mix of concern and surprise, kicking her leg gently under the table. Michaella realized she had spoken more candidly than she intended.

"I'm sorry," she said, her voice softer. "I didn't mean to burst out like that."

Alex's expression softened. "No, that's totally fine," he said reassuringly. "But did he leave you? Is he crazy?"

Pamela murmured under her breath, "He is" but Michaella shot her a look, her defensive instincts kicking in.

"It was my fault, and I don't want to say anything more," Michaella said firmly.

"Yeah, I understand," Alex replied. "But you're way too beautiful to cry about someone."

Michaella felt a wave of disgust at the compliment. She only cherished such words when they came from Gabrielle. In her mind, she silently pleaded, "Gabrielle, come back. I don't want anybody but you."

Pamela, sensing Michaella's discomfort, spoke up. "Thank you for the kind words, Alex, but we have a lot to discuss. Maybe another time."

Alex took the hint gracefully. "Of course. It was nice meeting you, Michaella. I hope things work out for you."

"Thank you," Michaella said, offering a polite smile as he walked away.

Once Alex was out of earshot, Pamela turned to Michaella. "You okay?"

Michaella sighed. "Yeah, I just can't stand the thought of anyone else but Gabrielle. It feels wrong."

Pamela nodded. "I get it. But remember, you deserve to be happy. Maybe focusing on your podcast and helping others will help you heal."

Michaella nodded, grateful for Pamela's understanding. "You're right. 'RaiseUp' is my priority now. I want to make a difference."

As they finished their drinks and prepared to leave, Michaella felt a renewed sense of purpose. The meeting had been a success, and despite the brief encounter with Alex, she felt more determined than ever to pour her heart into her podcast.

Back home, Michaella sat at her desk, reflecting on the day's events. She opened her laptop and began to draft her next podcast episode. The theme would be resilience and the importance of self-love. She knew that by sharing her own struggles, she could help others find strength in their own journeys.

With a deep breath, Michaella started to type, her thoughts flowing seamlessly. She felt a sense of peace, knowing that even though her heart still ached for Gabrielle, she was on a path to healing and growth. And through "RaiseUp," she hoped to guide others on their paths as well.

It's nice to see Michaella trying to better, even if it means focusing on work, but she know that Gabrielle will always be her only love.
