The reader makes dark jokes and laughs at messed up stuff(all in good fun, of course. They aren't evil - they just have a weird sense of humor).
Zim-
He wouldn't understand that it's a joke. He'd think that you genuinely see yourself as garbage, and he'd be concerned, urging you to hang out with him to distract you.
He'd just stare at you nervously when you said you were joking.
Dib-
He'd be put off by it initially, but he would understand that you're just joking and that you don't actually mean half of what you're saying.
Gaz-
She'd be very nonchalant, but at certain moments, she may actually start to laugh with you. It's very rare, though.
Gir-
Much like Zim, he'd think that you're being literal and be super concerned for you; he'd probably start crying if you made a self-deprecating joke, and he wouldn't listen when you told him that you're joking.
Professor Membrane-
He may occasionally laugh and say that you are strange, but otherwise, he wouldn't really react to it.
Tak-
It would take her forever to realize that you're joking, but she would actually start laughing with you when she understood.
The Tallests-
They would be panicking hard, thinking that they did something wrong. When you said that you were joking, they would nervously smile at you and then whisper to each other, wondering what they should do.
They just don't get it.
Miss Bitters-
If it's in front of other people, she'll be silent and have a blank expression, but if it's just the two of you, she may eventually start laughing.
