"Have you got your helmet love?" i asked arlo as we headed out of our house.

"Yeah dad put it in the car!" he replied as he tied his shoelaces standing up.

"Okay, go get in the car while i get your sisters." i replied as the girls came running in.

"Mummy, i can't find my pink trainers!" azylia whined.

"Right just..." i sighed, i was so stressed as today was arlos first karting race.

"Mads, you need any help?" lando asked as he walked into the house.

"Yeah can you find azylias shoes?"

He nodded, kissing my cheek as him and azylia went to find her shoes while i tied novas shoelaces. "Okay, let's get in the car!"

I placed nova into her car seat making sure her and arlo were strapped in before getting into the passengers seat as lando and azylia got in.

"Ready?" Lando smiled as he turned on the engine to his Mclaren.

"YESSS." arlo cheered excitedly making us laugh.

"Is that my nephew who is a future f1 driver?" marie smiled as arlo ran up to her and lewis hugging them tightly.

"Hey guys." i smiled as the girls ran it hug them both.

"Hello you two." lewis smiled as he ruffled their hair making them smack his hands away.

"Max and P are over here." marie pointed as we joined, max, pietra and me and lando's family.

You may think having all of the family come to Monaco for Arlos race is a bit dramatic but they all insisted on being here.

"Okay buddy you ready?" Lando smiled as he leant down to arlo placing his helmet on his head.

"I think so.." arlo mumbled clearly nervous.

"Dont be nervous baby, you'll do amazing." i said planting a kiss on his cheek as he got into his kart.

"Okay, i love you both!" he waved as he started the kart taking his place.

Me and lando linked hands as we stood beside everyone.

"You nervous?" faith smiled warmly as she held willow in her arms.

"I honestly don't know, i just want him to do well." i laughed softly.

"He will do if he has his dad'ss genes." she winked as she joined jacks side.

As the karts took off arlo stayed in third doing extremely well, with there only being 9 laps it was only short.

By lap 6, arlo had gained a place up to second meaning he only had to pass one kart in 3 laps.

Coming round into the last few corners, arlo did an amazing overtake leaving him in first.

As he crossed the line we all cheered loudly for him as he raised his fist in victory. As soon as he got out of the kart he ran over to us hugging us tightly.
