So close But So far Away

Im completely over it, I came to school in sweat pants and a hoodie. My stomach hurts and I miss my girlfriend. And there 3 games that I have to cheer at tonight. Both basketball teams and a football game.

"So y'all fucked finally how was it?" Kourtney asked.

I smiled thinking back on the 1st and only time right now. "Girl let me tell you it was so good." Kourtney gasp, "How many rounds?" She asked raising her eyebrows. "5."

"Oh shit you got stamina girl. who topped who?" I thought hard about that, "We switched, but if you ask me Capri can be..." Before I finished talking "Capri can be what?" Capri asked walking up to the lunch table.

"Capri can be a fun person." I lied terribly on the spot. Capri hummed "Right." and kissed my cheek as she sat next to me.

"So ready for the games tonight?" Kevin asked. I groaned, "No me and Kourtney have to cheer at all 3 i'm going to be so exhausted."

Conversations went on until the day ended.

I walked into the locker room and seen the whole girls basketball team talking amongst each other.

All of the stalls were occupied so I had no choice but to change in my practice clothes in the opened.

But before I could Capri stood in front of me. "Girl you must be crazy." She looked me up and down. "The stalls were occupied and I don't want to be late to practice." Capri nodded and took my hand.

She brought me into an empty stall. "Ok now you can change." I nodded and started to put on my practice clothes.

"Ladies, the game starts in 30 minutes, please hurry up change get water and meet us back here." My coach said and we all separated.

After the 30 minutes we walked into the gym all they girls where ready and the girls team walked in.

Everyone cheered as Capri made the winning basket again.

The cheer team did the little winning cheer and we had to rush to get ready for the boy's basketball game. I'm not the happiest about cheering at 3 games back to back but I have someone to cheer for, Kevin is on the boys team so I cheer for him.

As the boys team walked in the gym the girls were given a break.

"Hi beautiful." Capri said from beside me. I just looked at her. "Hi." I said dryly, "What did I do?" Capri asked as her eyebrows furrowed. I sighed, "You didn't do anything my stomach is on fire and I have to cheer back to back... i'm sorry."

She hugged me, "It's okay, do you want to come over? we can watch movies and eat your favorite food or we can just sleep." The idea of spending the night with her sounds very soothing, "Ok yea we could do that." She let me go and gave me a quick kiss.

After the games I finally was done, I was exhausted and ready to sleep. My mom says she has no issue with me spending the night, she'll drive my car home and dad will drive her car home.

I took a shower and changed into some clothes Capri gave me. She got in after me and while she was in the shower I was talking to her dad.

"Kaylee how have you been." He asked while making dinner. "i've been good what about you?" I questioned.

"I'm good everything is good." He said adding ingredients into whatever he was making. "How's you and Capri?" I've grown to love this question, I love talking about her. "We're good." I said with a smile on my face.

"That's good, Capri used to come home and talk about you all the time, it's about time y'all got together." He said with a smile. "So I leave You alone with my girlfriend and you want to expose me?" Capri said walking into the kitchen.

She looked so good, she always looks good, She had on a nike sports bra and basketball shorts.

"It's nothing I already didn't know." I replied. "Right see? she already knew." Her dad added in.

"whatever." Capri rolled her eyes and quickly kissed me while her dad's back was turned to us.

Even though our families know we're together it feels weird kissing or anything in front of them... Maybe cause we're both not the PDA type.

"Anyways dinner is finally done and you did so good at the game." Her dad said placing the plates all around the table. I got up to get her siblings while her and her dad talked.

I walked into kayden's room 1st "Kayden food is ready." She got up from her bed "Finally."

Next I walked to Eli's room, "Eli food is ready."

After dinner, we all talked until everyone decided to go in their rooms. Capri was fast asleep and I was just up.

I was scrolling on my phone, next to me Capri was stirring from her sleep. Her eyes fluttered open. "Why are you up?". I put my phone down, "I'm not tired."

Capri sat up on her arms, "Well neither am i." I shook my head, "No go to sleep." She shook her head back at me, "No you're up so am I, so are we going to watch tiktok?"

"No WE aren't, you're going to sleep." I said, "No you must be confused, WE are watching tiktoks if one isn't sleep, the only way WE aren't watching tiktoks is if WE go to sleep." Capri facing her whole body to me.

I sighed, "Ok to be real, my stomach hurts and I wasn't in your arms... i don't mean to be clingy, i'm sorry if you don't like it." I rushed out my words, Capri cracked a smile, "Ok well I have an heating pad and I could make tea... You could've climbed into my arms like you always do, and you are clingy, but i'm okay with, I like clingy." She said a smile.

Before she got up she kissed my head and grabbed the heating pad then went to make tea.

After I finished the tea my body was more relaxed and I went to sleep.
