Christmas eve. I love christmas but safe to say i'm still pissed off and in my thoughts.

I did some christmas shopping on my own time. Safe to say I spent a lot of money on people.

Christmas eve usually some family comes over and Capris family comes over for breakfast. They bring the presents they have for us and we open them.

All of these traditions started when Capris mother passed.

This year we decided to match Pajamas, But I was the odd one out?

Everyone had on red plaid christmas pants with a black shirt. And I had on a Sally onesie (The nightmare before christmas)

I asked why I wasn't matching with the rest of my family but they would tell me 'Because your attitude is horrible.'

Bullshit.

Tonight after christmas eve in christmas day i'm taking a trip to Spain. My mom's home.

I can speak spanish, I just don't if I don't need to.

My mom taught me spanish when I was young, but since I was born and raised in America Spanish is my second language.

I gathered all of my presents from my room and put them under the tree.

I heard the bell ring which means either my Abuela is here or Mr.Oliver.

I opened the door. I hugged my Abuela.

"Hi Abuela, where Abuelo?" I asked her

"He's helping Nessa with the gifts." She said walking in the house.

I went outside to help them. After putting some of the gifts in the house I went inside to get the last few.

Mr.Taylor pulled up.

Kayden got out the car, "Hi kaykay." I hugged her.

"Hi Kaykay." she hugged me and I noticed she was a little more physical than usual. Kayden doesn't like physical contact what so ever.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked looked at her.

"Oh just because I finally get to see my best friend and It's christmas." She pulled away from me.

I nodded and smiled.

Then Elija walked out the car.

He came up to me with a side hug. "Kay i'm hungry you have food?"

"Nuhuh boy help me with these gifts." Mr.Taylor said. Eli groaned and went to help his father.

I went back in my house.

I went to get something from my room specifically a present for Capri.

It was a sweater that she's been wanting. Nothing special it was An 'Essentials' hoodie and I kinda got myself a matching one.

Even without us being together I knew that she would come over and I got her stuff just incase she got me presents.

I heard a knock on my door thinking it was my mom or dad so I told them to walk it.

And Capri walked in, when I realized I tried to hide the presents behind my back. She looked at me weird but shook it off.

"What?" I asked with an attitude.

Capri straightened her back and shifting her weight around. "Your parents wanted me to tell you breakfast is ready."

"Okay, you told me so get out i'll be out soon." I knew I came off harsh but i was kind of panicking.

I heard her mumble a 'Whatever' and left my room.

I got the present and put it under the tree then siting at the table to eat.

The air between me and Capri was awkward we didn't talk the whole time and I guess my Abuelo noticed.

"Kaylee, qué pasa entre tú y tu novia?" He asked eyeing me.
(Kaylee whats wrong with you and your girlfriend?)

I rolled my eyes can't get out of this conversation. "Nada, simplemente no estamos en los mejores términos." I tried explaining but he wasn't having it
(Nothing we just arent on the best of terms.)

This language switch was pissing me off, everyone that could understand was clearly listening.

And everyone who didn't understand was trying to grasp the words to understand.

"rompiste con ella?" He asked taking a bite of his food.
(you broke up with her?)

I rolled my eyes, "No, el abuelo Capri rompió conmigo." How stupid could I be... Why the fuck would I say her name? Now she knows where talking about her.
(No, Grandpa Capri broke up with me.)

"Okay that's enough, back to english." My mother said.

Capri got up to use the bathroom then I noticed.

She was wearing a matching 'Jack Skellington' onesie.

Matching my 'Sally' onesie.

I looked at my dad remembering his words. He said 'if we don't get our shit together hell pull some strings for me and get up back together'. Then I looked at her dad.

They looked at me with a grin and I just rolled my eyes.

After breakfast it was time to open presents.

My abuelo passed them out.

For the most part I got new shoes and clothes from my parents.

Nessa bought me bath and body works perfume.

My Abuela bought me an Apple Computer.

My Abuelo bought me candles for my room.

I said my thank yous, i'm very grateful. I didn't want much, I have everything I want and more. My parents make it happen for me. So the seemingly small stuff is big to me.

Capris dad got me a teal blanket. I love the color teal so I was over the mood about that.

Capri got me a pink nike sweatsuit.

And a teal p.s control.

I whispered thank you can we kept opening gifts.

I got my dad the new 2k.

My mom a new book for baking recipes, she absolutely loves to bake.

Kayden a 100$ roblox gift card.

I got Ariel Ugg Tasman slides.

I got Kayla roblox also.

I got my grandparents a collage of our family pictures.

Mr.Taylor 2 pictures one of him and his kids and the other one with him, his kids and their mother.

Tears were shed but happy ones.

I got Eli a headset since he keeps breaking his.

Lastly Capri opened her hoodie and whispered a quiet thank you.
