The end of the school year is approaching which calls for the end of the year formal it's not like prom only the 12th graders have prom. This dance is a small get together in the schools gym.

"Capri who are you going to the dance with?" I asked as I was sitting on my bed "noone i'm going alone or with you and Kev" when she said that i groaned "Kevin you're going to the dance with anyone?" I asked my friend that was sitting on the bean bag on the opposite side of my room.

"Um yea Stacy the girl i've been talking to for a while." I groaned again "Capri you want to go shopping tomorrow after school?" Capri blinked at me and then Kevin says "Yea y'all should go I got my Outfit and I have Football practice tomorrow." I looked over to Capri still needing an answer, "Earth to Caprison you want to go or what?" I waving my hand in Capris face "Uh yea sure basketball practice got canceled anyway." I gave Capri a big hug and smiled .

CAPRIS POV

When Kaylee asked to go shopping I was a little bit caught off guard because I didn't expect her to ask. But of course I ended up agreeing. But my eyes quickly darted to Kevin as he said "Yea yall should go I got my outfit and I have football practice tomorrow." I knew exactly what he was doing, he know about the small crush I have on kaylee and he's been encouraging me to spend time alone with her. But I don't know if she feels the same way, she's expressed that my sleeping around tendencies and not being over my Ex kind of push my chances away. So I decided to try to get over her and take care of me,

Ive always thought Kaylee was attractive, but I never tried anything with her because she's been my best friend but when I look at her my eyes soften when she touches me my heart jumps. And if I had a chance with her I would have to alter myself but for Kaylee I would.

I was quickly pulled out my thoughts when my brother and sister came barging in my room arguing about something stupid. "Elija keeps trying to hog the Tv" kayden said yelling slightly which caused Elija to retaliate "I was in the living room first and you have a Tv ,computer AND an ipad don't forget you phone in your room so what's the issue?" Which cause Me, Kaylee and Kevin to burst out laughing "Kayden Eli has a point." Kevin said to the arguing sibling at the door. which caused Kayden to say "FINE take the stupid remote." Kaylee laughed at Kayden and said "Let Eli have the remote." Kayden huffed "Ok Fine just because you said so Kaylee." Which caused them to walk out my room but Kayden slammed my door shut as she exited.

I got up quickly on my feet and ran to Kayden's room. "I know you did not slam my door."  I said to my sister who was now laying in her bed "I did what are you going to do?" With that I practically pounced on her and put her in a head lock. "Say sorry right now."

Me and Kayden always play fight and this move always got her to give in I always made sure my grip wasn't too tight. "Say sorry or i'm telling dad." The bed room door opened revealing laughing Elijah,Kaylee, Kevin and my dad. "OK OK IM SORRY." I let go of my sister and ruffled her hair. "Get out" Kayden said with her arms crossed.

"Capri what did I tell you about putting your sister in a headlock?" my dad still laughing. "Well she deserved it." I said shrugging. I walked out Kayden's room and went back to my room.

"I swear y'all are always You and your siblings are always fighting" Kevin said still laughing. "She's always doing something she's not supposed to and I find it crazy she never listens to be but listens to Kaylee." I said which caused Kaylee to narrow her eyes at me "Don't be mad because I got that effect of people". I scoffed knowing it was true but couldn't let her know that. "Girl please."

Kevin laughed "She not wrong Capri, Kaylee got that magic touch." I threw my pillow at Kevin "Dude literally whose side are you on?" Kaylee laughed and Kevin said "No sides just here."

So Kaylee and Kevin ended up going home a little over an hour ago so I facetime Tyler to tell about my feelings towards Kaylee.

"Ty I don't know i'm scared"

"Pri literally you're going shopping with her"

"Ok but she just makes me nervous"

"Pri you've been with how many other females?"

"Tyler it's not about that Kaylee is different"

"Ok how is she so different?"

"The way she carries herself , the way she looks when she's concerting on her school work, the way she dance especially on stage, she just so effortlessly perfect and pretty."

"Uhoh Kaylee got Capri blushing?"

"Shut up and another thing she's only had one girlfriend that didn't last that long and she hasn't even lost her Virginity I don't want to be the one to take her innocents"

"ok so what i'm hearing is you'd want someone else to take her Virginity and you be jealous because that person did it and not you?"

"ok ok you got me there i'm bout to go to sleep i'll tell you about what happens tomorrow"

"Alright Capri goodnight lil bro"

I cut the call and before I could to go sleep Elija comes in my room "OUUUU CAPRI LIKES KAYLEE" my eyes widened "Eli don't say anything to her and why are you ear hustling?" Eli came further in my room "I wasn't ear hustling I been knew and I won't say anything your secret is safe with me". I sighed out of relief  "Thank you Eli now get out i'm about to go to sleep, Goodnight" i turned my phone off  "Goodnight pri". Soon eli closed me door and I was fast asleep
