So close But So far Away

*July 4th*

Very year my parents barbecue for the 4th of July.

Everyone comes over around 2 in the afternoon and we watch the fireworks people on the block light.

'Everyone' usually consists of Capris family, and whoever else gets invited but it's not often someone gets invited.

I invited the boys but they had plans with their family.

And Kourtney was out of the country.

I think it's cute that our families are so close.

I'm trying to decide on a bikini.

It was either a baby pink bikini, or a black tube top with the thong bottoms.

I went with the baby pink one because it covered my butt.

"Kaylee hurry up they're here." I heard my dad yell from outside my door.

"ok coming." I said before waking out my room and to the back yard.

"Finally it took you so long enough." My sister Kayla said while walking up to me.

"Whatever, but your bathing suit looks cute." I said while pulling her into a hug.

Her bathing suit was a one piece with a tie dye design.

"Thank you mommy picked it out for me." She said with a smile.

"What's up kiddos." I said walking up to Capris siblings and my sister.

"Nothing waiting for the food." Eli said while I pulled him into a side hug.

"Same." Kayden said.

"You're always eating Kayden give it a rest." Ariel said while also hugging me.

"Girl I know you're not talking everytime you come to my house my snacks Vanish." Kayden snapped back.

"Kayden leave my house now." Ariel said with an eyeroll.

"No." Kayden said sticking her tongue out at Ariel.

"What are y'all arguing about this time?" I heard Mr.Taylor say from behind me.

"We aren't arguing Ariel told me to get out her house." She said crossing her arms.

"Yea I did so what?" She said mimicking Kaydens actions.

"So i'm not leaving cause you love me and would never want me to leave." She said while pulling Kayden into a big bear hug.

"Get off me nasty." Kayden said not hugging Ariel back.

I laughed at their arguing.

I looked around to look for Capri to see her sitting on the arm of couch laughing it up with my parents.

So i walked over to them.

"So you walk over to my house and don't say anything to me?" I questioned Capri crossing my arms.

Capris eyes subtly glanced at my chest then back at me. "1st not your house and for 2 you were laughing it up with my dad AND my siblings."
