So close But So far Away

Today we have an away game that's 2 hours away. The cheerleaders are sharing the same bus, that's the only thing i'm happy about.

The game is at 6 we left school at 2pm we won't get back until like 10 at night. Me and Kaylee are at the back of the bus she's laying on my shoulder scroll on her phone.

"Are you okay?" I asked her. She looked up at me "Yea i'm just hungry." I pulled out a bag on chips I packed. She took them thanked me and ate them.

Where only like 40 minutes into the drive, time is moving so slow.

We got at the game not too long ago. We warmed up and ready for the game to begin.

I was starting like always. This team we're up against was good, they've won the championships against us for my 3 years of highschool, and now that i'm a senior I want to change that.

KAYLEES POV

Capri made the winning shot once again, it's like a routine thing.

After the game we loaded the bus and got back on it ready for this long ride back home.

"Another win, i'm proud of you." I said to Capri, a smile grew on her lips, "Thank you baby." She leaned down to kiss me.

After we got back to the school I dropped Capri home then I got home shortly after.

I was extremely exhausted, i'm so happy today is a friday.

After I showered did my night routine I was fast asleep.

The next morning I checked my phone to see that Kourtney texted.

Hi sexy, you wanna chill this weekend? I miss you, we need to have another sleepover.

Me: Yea I could come over tonight?

her: Yea of course i'll pick you up.

I liked the message and seen Capri text me also.

Goodmorning Leelee do you want to hang out today?

Me: Yea you never have to ask, but Kourtney wants me to sleep over at her house.

Her: Okay then I'll just go home before you go to her house, I just want to see you.

Me: okay I want to see you too, let me know when you're here.

After Capri responded I got up to see an empty house. No one was home, After I did my morning routine. I went to my dad's contact.

Me: where are y'all?

Him: We told you last night uncle V wanted us to come by.

Me: oh okay I didnt remember sorry how long are you guys going to be out?

Him: He wants to take us out so I'm not sure

Me: okay dad tell everyone I love them and bye

Him: ok butterfly I love you too.

I set my phone down, My uncle V isn't much of a problem I don't like him because he always had shit to say about my sexuality so if i don't need to see him I won't.
