A/N: Here's one request that wanted me to write Scarlizzie figuring out that there is Wandanat fanfiction.
Lizzie's POV:
Chris Evans and I were sitting in my trailer, waiting for Scarlett to finish filming. The cast had decided that we were going to go to dinner together for the first time in forever, and Scarlett, Chris, and I were driving together. I was scrolling on my phone on the couch, eating popcorn when Chris spoke up.
"Hey, Liz?" He asked.
"Yes?"
"Have you ever heard of fanfiction?"
"No. What's that?" I questioned as I threw my phone to the side and looked at him.
"I don't know. Mackie sent me a site saying, and I quote 'Omg, you bitches need to read this. It's the best thing I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of fascinating things.'"
I scrunched my nose in both amusement, and disgust.
"Why not? Scar is taking forever," I said, sitting up and moving next to Chris. I watched as he opened up the tab and began inspecting it.
"Oh!" He said, seemingly getting it.
"What?"
"So, apparently it's a fictional story that involves Marvel and our characters."
"There's a lot. Which one are you choosing?" I questioned, looking at the choices.
He scrolled down, pausing to read each description before he stopped and smirked.
"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked.
"Well, I just found out that there's a ship in Marvel that's quite popular."
"Well, which is it?" I asked, growing impatient and nervous.
"Wanda and Natasha."
My face heated up. Sure, it was fictional, but there was no question when it came to my feelings for Scarlett in real life. This was just the perfect opportunity for Chris to tease me.
"Let's read it," he eagerly said as he pulled up the story.
"Do we have to? This was suggested by Mackie; should we really trust him?"
"Don't try to back out of this. You were the one wanting to do it in the first place."
I put my head in my hands, trying to hide my red cheeks. He looked at me with a sincere face.
"But If you really don't want to do it, we don't have to," he offered.
"It's ok. Let's do it," I answered, mentally preparing myself.
He chose a story, reading the summary.
"Awe!"
"Now what?!"
"Their ship name is Wandanat," he said, showing me the screen.
"Oh my gosh... that's kind of cute," I admitted, causing Chris to laugh.
He began reading, and I listened. The story was about Natasha helping Wanda control her powers, leading to them falling in love. The details were so intimate, and I couldn't help but imagine myself kissing Scarlett. I sighed as Chris finished.
"Hey, you alright, Liz?" He questioned, placing a hand on my leg.
"Yeah." He looked at me, knowing I was lying. I played with the rings on my fingers while laying my head on his shoulder. "It's just- seeing Wanda make her move on Natasha makes me want to be able to ask Scarlett out on a date. You know? I wish I had the courage that Wanda has."
