Scarlett's POV:
"Thanks, so much guys," I told the makeup and hair crew that finished getting me prepped for the Oscars. I touched up my lipstick as they walked out before looking over myself in the mirror. My dress was stunning- it was gold and hugged my body while my hair was in slight waves. I always loved getting ready at awards- it made me feel pretty.
Suddenly, the door opened and in came my girlfriend. My mouth dropped at the sight of her in a red dress that had a slit, revealing her thigh and her beautifully straight hair with just a touch of makeup.
"You look stunning, Lizzie," I gaped. She laughed as she came up behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist and looking at me in the mirror.
"And you, my lovely, look breathtaking," she whispered, slightly kissing down my neck and leaving lipstick stains on my skin.
"Lizzie stop-" I cut myself off when a moan escaped my mouth as Lizzie gently sucked a sensitive spot on my neck.
I made no movement to pull away from her, completely enjoying myself. She pulled away, leaving a kiss on the mark she most-definitely created. I looked in the mirror and there it was: a reddish mark that was sure to bruise within an hour right in the middle of my neck.
"Lizzie!"
"What?" she asked innocently.
"Why did you have to leave a mark? We're about to walk out in front of cameras all over the country in five minutes."
"Well," she started before kissing me on the lips, "I think it completes the look."
I glared at her, taking a makeup wipe and wiping the red stains off my skin. I was thankful that my hair was able to cover the mark that Lizzie made, despite her adorable pouts.
"I guess I'll see you out there. Unless you want me to stay," Lizzie offered with a smirk.
"Go," I said sternly. She laughed, walking out the door.
I did a few more touch ups before I was needed on the carpet. With one deep breath, I headed out.
I was hit with immediate flashes of camera the minute I stepped out. It still got a bit overwhelming and my hand went to fiddle with the ring Lizzie had gotten me. I smiled for the cameras, doing poses before I caught the eye of Lizzie. She was already looking at me with so much love and I couldn't help but smile the biggest I ever could right at her.
"Scarlett! You're needed for an interview!" A producer shouted, guiding me to a man who had a creepy smirk on his face. I instantly felt uncomfortable and hoped this interview didn't last long. I threw on a small smile and walked towards him.
"Scarlett Johannson! You look very pretty tonight!" He said.
"Oh, thank you," I replied politely, still playing with my rings.
Suddenly, he took my hand that was touching my rings, and put it in his, gripping my skin tightly. I subtly tried to get out of his grip while smiling, but was failing.
"Do you have a date accompanying you tonight?" He asked.
"N-no," I said unsurely. Lizzie and I weren't out to the public yet. Only our closest friends and family knew. Lizzie was fine with it and patiently waited for me to feel comfortable to present ourselves as a couple.
