A/N: I'M SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED!!! I was so sick. There was some sort of sickness going around my school and I caught it very bad. I was out of school for days because of it, but I'm feeling better! This is an AU where Wanda and Natasha are in high school, and Wanda is being bullied (they're already dating)
TW: Self-harm
Natasha's POV:
The bell rang for lunch, causing Clint and I to eagerly pack up our stuff before heading out of the classroom to pick up Wanda at her classroom.
"Do you have the answers for Ms. Hill's class?" Clint asked. I didn't even have to turn around to see his puppy dog eyes; they were staring into the side of my head.
"Yes, I do. But you can't have them," I told him as we made a turn to the next hallway.
"But- Nat!"
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop playing video games and do your goddamn homework?"
"Please, just this one time!" He pleaded.
My ears blocked out Clint's voice as raging sounds came closer to us- yelling more like it. I tried to make out voices.
"Nat, don't ignore me-"
"Sh!" I exclaimed.
"But-"
"I said shush."
I began to walk faster and entered a hallway that was blocked by a group of people surrounding something. I pushed my way through the crowd with Clint following me until I made out a voice that was hard to ignore.
"You think just because your brother died that meant you'd get off the hook?"
Hearing that asshole's voice made me rage, and it only made me more mad knowing who he was talking to. I made my way to the front of the group to find Wanda pinned up against the lockers by Tony Stark who was smirking at her. Anger flooded through my veins, and I swore I could've killed him right then and there. His eyes moved to the arm he had held down against the locker, and my heart dropped to my stomach.
"What's this?" He said amused, pulling her sleeve down to reveal the secret on her and I knew. "Thought you could find a way out, you freak?"
That was it. I marched up to him.
"Get off of her, shithead!" I yelled, yanking him away from Wanda. I immediately put Wanda behind me and felt her hold on to my arm tightly.
"Oh, Natasha Romanoff. Nice one, Maximoff. Who knew you had someone who actually cared about you. Oh wait, no you don't. This is clearly for show," he directed to Wanda.
"Back off, dude!" Clint came in, shoving Tony. "You're not cool- just really immature."
"Oh really? Then how come..."
I didn't listen to their conversation any longer as I gently pulled a tearful Wanda with me through the idiotic people watching towards the closest bathroom. I moved us into the biggest stall and locked the door. Wanda placed herself on the toilet with her hands over her mouth to muffle her sobs. It hurt to see her being caused so much pain.
"Hey, hey. Shh, Wands. Calm down before you have an attack," I gently said, moving pieces of hair out of her face. I gently removed her hand off of her mouth so she could breathe and took a piece of toilet paper to wipe her nose for her.
"Tasha," she cried.
"What, baby? What is it?"
"I hate this. Why is everyone so mean to me?"
