Chapter Fifteen

Seungcheol dropped the script onto the table in front of them. The table that was now littered with empty bottles. "This is so cheesy" he groaned.

"It's a historical romance drama, what did you expect" Yunah asked with a small laugh.

"It's just so obvious. Of course you are a princess and of course he is your guard and you fall madly in love but have to keep it a secret" Seungcheol explained gesturing wildly. "It's so predictable"

Yunah giggled and then picked up the piece of paper with the plot outline on it. "Okay, if it's so predictable guess how it ends" she taunted.

Seungcheol leaned forward closing the distance between their positions on opposite ends of the couch slightly. Yunah leaned back to shield the paper from him so he couldn't cheat.

"Easy, they get found out, they sentence the guard to death but the princess tries to sacrifice herself for him. The king let's them go and they live happily ever after" Seungcheol replied with a wave of his hand.

Yunah gaped at him. "How?"

"I told you, predictable" Seungcheol replied with a smirk before leaning back to rest against the arm rest.

Yunah rolled her eyes and gathered up the discarded papers before stuffing them back into their envelope. She glanced at her phone. "Two hours to go through one episode script with you"

"No, don't blame me for why this took so long, you are the one who couldn't stop laughing" Seungcheol retorted.

Yunah smiled and put the envelope back in her bag before grabbing the hair scrunchie she kept in the front pocket. "Only because you kept using ridiculous voices"

"Guilty" he replied with a shrug. "Shame there weren't any kissing scenes in the first episode for us to practice"

Yunah froze and turned to look at him slowly. She found him smirking at her with one eyebrow raised. Right, he was joking of course, not to mention slightly intoxicated, if not more considering the amount of alcohol they had consumed over the last two hours. She reached over and slapped him lightly on the knee. "You are not funny"

"Will there be kissing scenes?" Seungcheol asked. His tone suddenly more serious.

Yunah shrugged. "I don't know, We only read the script for the first episode. It is a romance so I assume so"

"You fell for the last co star you kissed" Seungcheol stated flatly.

Yunah stared at him, trying to read his expression but failing. He suddenly seemed so serious. His tone was completely different to the light hearted one he had been using moments before. "I did and I didn't even know he existed before we worked together. I have had a crush on Song Kang for years. I can't even imagine what it will be like kissing him" she replied with a sigh, suddenly desperate to see what his reaction to her confession would be.

Seungcheol's expression turned dark. He seemed almost jealous, surely that wasn't right. "I should never have introduced you to him" he bit out.

Yunah rolled her eyes. "I'm messing with you Cheol, I have no desire to date another co star after the last experience, not to mention I only just got out of a relationship" she replied with a sigh as she reached up behind her to twist her hair into a ponytail securing it with the scrunchie she had retrieved from her bag.

Seungcheol watched her as she did this and his expression immediately softened. "You kept it" he stated, nodding in her direction.

Yunah knew he was talking about the pink glittery scrunchie now in her hair. "You told me to" she replied casually. "You were right, I wanted something to remember the experience by. Being in your music video was the best moment of my year so far"
