Aaron Salvatore and Hope Mikaelson. They were a force that should never be challenged. They were the best of friends since their dads were best friends. After Hope's dad died, Hope pushed everyone away. Except Aaron.

When Aaron found himself with Hope, Lizzie and Josie, he was expecting some large monster with a thousand eyes. Not Ryan Clarke back from the dead staring at himself in the mirror. "Still as handsome as ever." Clarke said before seeing Aaron, Hope, Lizzie and Josie looking at him in the mirror. "Oh, admit it. You totally missed me." Clarke said. "I'm gonna be honest, I haven't thought about you once." Aaron said bluntly.
"How are you even here?" Hope asked. "Long story short, uh, someone chopped off my head. Woke up in the blackness, endless loneliness, suffering, existential agony, blah blah blah. And then an industrious Triad witch brought me back to the here and now. Where you've obviously made no progress in killing Malivore." Clarke summarised. "We did manage to lock him in a prison world." Hope said.
"Well, there's no prison that will contain my father. You know it. Is he still sending monsters?" Clarke spoke. "A couple." Josie said through gritted teeth. "Jo, stop giving him information. That goes for you, too." Lizzie told Josie and Hope. "But lucky for us, I have a plan." Clarke said. "Of course you do." Aaron muttered. "What kind of plan?" Hope asked. "Not interested. Ad somnum." Lizzie said before using her magic to knock Clarke out.
Aaron chuckled lightly as he watched Clarke fall and hit the ground with a loud thud. "Lizzie." Hope groaned lightly in annoyance. "Have you completely forgotten that Clarke once faked being Vardemus, turned Josie evil, and then tried to hijack your body? Not to mention a zillion other shady things. We are not trusting him." Lizzie told Hope.
"Fine, then what's your plan?" Hope asked. "Take him back to the school and let the grown-ups deal with something for once." Lizzie told her before leaving the cabin. Aaron yawned before looking at Clarke and waving his hand, watching as clothing covered his body. "I'm too tired for this." Aaron muttered before walking out, following after Lizzie.

Gas Station
After driving for most of the early morning and into the early afternoon, the four finally stopped for gas. The four climbed out of the car before Josie placed the gas pump into the gas tank. "My blood sugar is crashing, and my bladder is splashing. I'm gonna go grab some snacks. Anyone want to come with?" Lizzie spoke. "Yeah. I'm starving." Aaron said.
