In a tucked away roadside diner, Aurora sat in a booth, many books scattered across the surface as she used her vampire speed to flick through the old pages, writing anything important down into her notebook. Her neat handwriting etched into the pages with the ink of the pen. All her gathered knowledge from the books written down in one place. As she continued to work, a waitress walked over with a pen and pad in hand. "You ready for something to eat?" The waitress asked as Aurora scribbled down in her notebook rapidly.

"Can't you see my brain is on fire? I'm inspired. Drawing connections to all these things your minuscule mind couldn't possibly fathom. Though, to be fair, the inspiration I stole from that muse has been waning with every thought and passing minute. It's nearly gone." Aurora spoke, halting her writing. "And you will be, too, if you don't order food." The waitress told her. Aurora, slightly agitated with the waitress, looked up at her, veins growing under her eyes. "You know, I could go for a bite." She said. "Bite me." A voice said causing the waitress to jump in shock, turning to see Lizzie and Carter stood behind her. Aurora sighed at the sight of the two. "Sorry, do you mind giving us and our friend a moment? She's just a little..." Lizzie spoke, trailing off and Carter made a small gesture with his hand.

The waitress nodded before scurrying away. Lizzie sat down opposite Aurora before Carter sat down beside her. "We have a nasty habit of running into each other like this, witch and mutt. How did you two find me?" Aurora spoke. "The artifact I stuffed you in was covered in your red hair after, so... that wasn't hard. Plus, Carter is great when it comes to following scents." Lizzie said. "But calling me a mutt and Lizzie a witch is reductive and offensive. A lot's changed since we last saw each other." Carter said before his face along with Lizzie's changed. "Wow. A Heretic and a Hybrid then. How lovely. Though unless you intend to kill me with kindness..." Aurora spoke, standing up.

"And we both know how much I suck at murder. And we all know Carter prefers punching over stabbing. Distraction, on the other hand..." Lizzie said as Carter stood up. "Suurentaa." A voice spoke before Aurora's neck snapped, her body falling into Carter's arms and revealing Hope and Aaron were stood behind Aurora. "Killing you is my job." Hope said.

" Hope said
