Salvatore Boarding School

After Hope and Aaron disappeared not long after the whole killing Malivore thing, everyone at the school had been a little on edge. Alaric being in hospital in a coma, students worried about the future of the school and the squad worried about defending the school in case anything happens. Currently, MG, Ethan, Carter and Finch were sat in the lounge area, chatting as Riven sat beside Carter, his head resting on Carter's leg as Carter scratched his head gently. "Weird around here with Hope and Aaron being gone, and Dr. Saltzman, and Lizzie being in the therapy box. Not that most notice." MG said quietly.

"That's why they are not Squad material. Speaking of which, do you want to train after class today?" Ethan spoke. "Sure." MG told him before looking towards Finch. "Um... How's Jo dealing?" He asked gently. "She wasn't in her room this morning. We were supposed to have breakfast, but she didn't show. I'm assuming she's in full spiral mode right now." Finch answered before Josie appeared beside her and Carter, riven raising his head to look at Josie as she approached. "Hey. I'm sorry I'm late. I've been up all night reading my dad's old journals. I found this entry... My mom shut off her humanity at one point, too. I think there might be some clue about how to turn Hope's humanity back on." Josie told the four, her father's journal in hand.

"Any luck?" MG asked. "Well, with my mom, it was all about how her mom had written a letter to her before she had died." Josie spoke. "What was in the letter?" Carter asked. "I don't know because my mom burned it, but then Stefan Salvatore showed her a memory of what she had missed when she burned the letter, and the emotion from that was enough to turn her humanity back on." Josie answered. "So, we have to write her a letter and then... burn it?" Ethan asked causing Riven's head to snap towards him before huffing slightly, resting head back down on Carter's leg.

"No." Josie chuckled lightly before sitting down in the arm of the couch. "We need to get to Hope emotionally. Remind her of her family, friends, that this is her home. And then we need to find the right idea or feeling that's powerful enough to break through." Josie explained. "It's got to be good and fast. Every time we face off with her in the simulations, she kills us in like ten seconds." Finch spoke. "Still got PTSD from getting my heart ripped out and getting decapitated." Carter muttered.

"We're probably only gonna have one chance. It has to be the perfect idea." Josie told the four. "You're thinking we're gonna need some inspiration." MG added causing Josie to nod at his words. "Anybody know where Cleo is?" Carter asked causing everyone to shake their heads. "Ok. Just a thought. Maybe we should go find her." Carter added causing everyone to look at each other before rushing away in different directions.

But what they didn't realise was that parked outside the school gate, Aaron and Hope sat in their car, staring at the school. Apparently, according to Hope, they needed weapons. And the only place that had the sufficient amount was the school. Aaron thought they had enough magic, speed, strength and other abilities between the two of them to go after Triad but apparently he was wrong. "Ok. You're gonna do your shadow thing to get us into Dr. Saltzman's office, we'll grab the weapons and then you shadow us out." Hope told Aaron, who nodded lightly.
