Salvatore Boarding School
The door to Aaron's room slowly opened before a black cat ran through the gap made. A chuckle was heard before the door swung open further, letting Aaron walk inside and close the door behind him, leaning his back against the wooden surface as he looked around the room. "I never thought I'd miss my dorm room. And yet, here I am." Aaron muttered, walking further into the room and looking around at everything. The cat, Riven, jumped onto the bed and laid down on the soft sheets, indulging in the comfort being provided.
Aaron smiled at his familiar, taking the bow and quiver off his torso before walking over and sitting down on the bed, scratching Riven's head softly. Riven purred happily at the action, moving closer to Aaron's hand. Aaron sighed before taking his jacket off and pulling his knife out and placing it on the nightstand before standing back up and pulling a small vial out of his pocket, placing it down beside his knife. "I'm starving. So, you stay here and I'll be back in a minute." Aaron told Ruben before shadow jumping out of his room and into the kitchen.
Aaron quickly opened the pantry and rummaged through before grabbing a box of cookies and practically ripping it open, stuffing one in his mouth. "Aaron?" Someone asked. Aaron jumped, quickly turning to see Carter walking into the kitchen. Aaron swallowed the cookie in his mouth. "Carter. Hey." Aaron greeted, placing the box down. "You alright?" Carter asked. Aaron nodded. "Never been better. I'm alive. I'm eating cookies and talking with my best friend." Aaron said before coughing awkwardly.
Carter frowned in confusion. "Are you sure you're okay?" The werewolf asked. Aaron sighed. "Sorry. I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. Haven't been around people in a while." Aaron said, smiling weakly. "Did something happen today?" Carter asked. "Guess you could say that." Aaron answered. "What?" Carter asked. Aaron shook his head. "You know, I don't really remember much. Kind of a blur. I think I'm just tired. Been a long, long... day. Been a long day. So, I'm gonna just take this box of cookies and pass out for a good 15 hours. So, I'll see you tomorrow." Aaron said.
He grabbed the box of cookies before hugging Carter quickly and leaving a few moments after. Carter was frozen in confusion. "What just happened?" Carter muttered to himself before shaking his head and grabbing a snack from the fridge and walking back to his dorm room.
