In a large, private, stately house, a youthful, attractive woman was swimming in the large pool outside her house. Ave Marie was playing as she swam, a calming atmosphere surrounding her as she swam. She reached the edge of the pool before climbing out, the Triad symbol seen on her thigh. She then held her hand out and her cover up flew through the air into her hand. She was clearly the witch. She wrapped herself in her cover up before lying down on her sun bed.

She finished off her drink before grabbing the bell beside her and ringing it. She then placed it down before closing her eyes and resting her head down on the sun bed. As she hears footsteps approaching, she begins speaking. "I'll take another. And get in touch with the rest of the Triad. Set a meeting for later this afternoon. We're gonna have to deal with the Tribrid sooner than expected." The witch spoke. She expected to hear words being spoken or footsteps walking away. But she was met with silence. "I'm sorry, is there a problem?" The witch asked before opening her eyes and sitting up, seeing Hope and Aaron stood in front of her.

"Three, to be exact. And you're the first." Hope said. Aaron then held up a large, black candle before blowing at the wick at the top, a small flame igniting. Hope and Aaron then watched as the witch's skin began to age rapidly. Her skin started to sag slightly. Wrinkles quickly forming. And just as quickly, the rapid aging came to a stop and the witch looked at her hands shocked. "You don't look so good. You should get out of the sun. You're getting a little pruney." Hope said, pulling a knife out as Aaron walked over to the post at the bottom of the stairs leading into the house, placing the candle on top of the post.

The witch shot up, holding her hands out towards Aaron. "Incendia!" She shouted but nothing happened. Aaron turned to face her casually as Riven appeared, jumping onto the sun bed and lying down, stretching out leisurely. "You know, if you just would've talked to us before attacking, I would've told you that this candle's nullifying all magic, but not mine since I made it so I still have my magic." Aaron explained. "And I still have my vampire and werewolf powers." Hope added, walking over to stand next to Aaron.

"Because you are an affront to nature herself. You both are." The witch spat. "Oh, my god, we get it. We're both freaks of nature. She's part vampire, witch and werewolf and I'm part siphoner, vampire and grim reaper. Oh my god." Aaron said unbothered, already having heard this too many times. "Besides, we're not the ones who are using black magic to stay young. Not very natural." Hope said, walking closer as she twirled the knife around in her hand. "My vanity aside, you are cursed, child. You both are. A Tribrid was never meant to exist, and sullies the bloodlines of all three species. So, kill me if you must, but there will be no hiding from your fate." The witch told Hope.

"Does it look like I'm hiding?" Hope asked rhetorically. "Why don't you tell us where the vampire and the werewolf that you're working with are? We can have this conversation with them, too. Have them tell us all about how we're both freaks of nature." Aaron said. "And if I do, I will be just as dead." The witch said before moving her cover up away, showing the Triad symbol on her thigh. "Ours is an unbreakable alliance. And any act of treason is punishable by-" The witch spoke before being cut off. "Fire. Yes, we know." Aaron told her.
