23.10.20 THE RING

JK POV:

It was 9AM when I arrived back in Korea. I had my driver take me straight to Jimin's house. I felt a little guilty. I lied to Y/N. I told her my flight was arriving in Korea later tonight at 6PM. As badly as I want to see her, there was something I had to handle with the boys without her. My smile hasn't left my face since I woke up. I'm so excited for the plans with the boys. Only 4 of us are left to enlist. We've all been beyond busy trying to get things recorded for ARMY during our absence. What we are doing today is a really big decision for me so all the boys made time to come help me out. It really meant a lot having them all with me today. 

I got to Jimin's and as I was about to knock, Taehyung opened the door. He had the funniest grin on his face as he hugged me. "Jungkookah, I missed you." he said. I hugged him back and said, "Hyung, thanks for making time for me. I know you have promotions in France in a couple days." Joon came walking behind me saying "Sup bros. You guys ready for today? Our little Gukie is all grown up now." Tae says, "Yahhh, I can't believe you want to get married." Jimin yells, "Yaaahh Tae, when you meet her, you'll understand." Namjoon dabbed Jimin up and says, "Ya bro. Forreal. She's awesome." I hit them both yelling, "YAAAAHHHH, back off. She's mine." Tae started cracking up and said, "Come on, lets go find you the perfect ring for her." 

I looked down at the floor. Hearing someone say that out loud suddenly made me shy and all warm inside. I've never been more sure about anything else besides joining BTS. They all looked at me smiling and I nodded to them saying, "Lets gooo."

When I was in Budapest, I called Yoona. I needed to find out Y/N's ring size and honestly just ask Yoona for advice since she is closest to Y/N. When she answered I asked her if Y/N ever spoke about wanting to get married. Yoona started crying when I told her my plans to propose to her. She said that she was so happy for us. She knows how happy this will make Y/N. She said she was so grateful to me for keeping Y/N happy and safe. She really loves Y/N so much. I'm thankful Y/N found such an amazing friend/sister in Yoona. Y/N really deserve everything. She's gone through so much. I just want to always be there for her. I want to do anything I can to make her life easier. She's the most amazing person I have ever met. She's really so fucking beautiful too. I would be so lucky to call her my wife. My eyes get watery just thinking about her walking down the aisle smiling at me looking like an angel. 

We arrived at the store. My eyes went big just looking at everything they had on display. I let the lady know Y/N is a size 7 and that she loves rose gold. As we waited for them to gather all the rings to choose from, Jimin asked me how much I was planning on spending. I let out a small laugh and said, "TBH I don't have a price range in mind. I am willing to throw down however much if it's the right ring. No price is too high when it comes to my Angel." They all laughed at me, but Joon and Jimin nodded their heads in agreement. Tae said, "Damn, she really has all 3 of you whipped." I looked at Jimin and Joon and they were both blushing. "Aiiiiish. Too bad she's only whipped for me. She's all mine and only mine." I said. "Go find your own Y/N" I jokingly said to them while sticking out my tongue. 

Jimin said, "Yaaaaah! She's ARMY so she loves all of us." He started running away as he said it knowing I would come after him. Joon and Tae giggled at us. We stopped bickering once the lady came back out with several trays of rings for us to look at. I didn't even know where to begin. I wanted the ring I propose to her with to be big and flashy, but still classy. Then I wanted to get her a ring she can wear everyday that's just simple but still beautiful and unique like her. 

After looking at maybe 100 rings, I think I found the one I want to propose to her with. It was big, but for some reason when I saw it, it reminded me of us. There was a rectangle shaped diamond and then next to it was another diamond in the shape of a tear drop. The tear drop shaped one was leaning on the rectangle. It looked like they were cuddling. I asked the boys what they thought of it. Tae said, "Gorgeous." Joon said, It's beautiful bro. She'll love it." Jimin said, "It's stunning, just like her." as he giggled. I shook my head at him.
