One year! PT2 <3

Everett's POV

After bathing all the littles, they wanted a karaoke night after dinner. Scarlett is singing with them as Maverick and I watch.

"Can you believe meadows can put little for a year? The boys for years as well. I feel kind of old" Maverick said making me laugh.

"Hey, I'm older than you so don't even say that." I teased.

"But you're right, time has truly flown by." I said as I watched our wife and children sing and dance.

Scarlett got tired and decided to come sit with us.
She sat between us and joined in on watching them.

We watched all the littles sing and dance, every once in a while laughing to the point of falling on the floor.

I pulled up my phone to check the time.
"Woah, it's way past bedtime. Let's get them in bed" I told my partners.

"Babies it's past bedtime, let's get ready for bed" Maverick told them. The groans and whines were louder than the sound of an airplane roaring in the sky.

"My my, what a bunch of pouty babies" I said as I gave them my "stern let's go" face. The all got up and slumped there way towards the stairs since we were on the living room.

Maverick picked up meadow since she decided she didn't want to walk up the stairs. "Come on, lose the pout. It's already past your bedtime" Maverick said.

Meadow just hide her face in his neck as he carried her up the stairs.

"Daddy can we have bedtime stories still?" Felix asked, holding my hand with his as we walked up the stairs behind Maverick.

"Sure buddy, we can do that"

I helped Cyrus and Felix get ready for bed while scarlet helped Maverick get Elijah and meadow ready.

I read the boys books, Maverick and scarlet took turns to came to say goodnight to them before they disappeared back to the nursery.

Both boys seemed to already fall asleep as I ended the story. I said my goodnight and slowly closed the door so I wouldn't wake them up.

I walked into the nursery to find Scarlett nursing meadow and Elijah listening to Maverick read a story.

I walked up and sat next to Maverick as listened to him read as well. My head jolted over when meadow wailed and cried. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Oh she's just mad I'm switching her over to the other boob, she just fussy when I do that" Scarlett said trying to calm down meadow. I guess she regressed a lot while she nursed.

"Daddy look there's a doggy in da book" Elijah said catching my attention again.

"I see buddy, it's a happy doggy isn't it?"

"Yeah he happy" he replied before changing the page for maverick.

Maverick continued to read the book, talking and a happy dog and his favorite things. Elijah would point at anything he thought was funny on the pages of the book.

"Ev, can you helped me please?" Scarlett said hinting at meadow who was passed out on her boob.

I smiled and picked her up, listing her into her crib. I tucked her in and pushed her paci into her mouth. She snored peacefully in her crib.

"The end.." maverick said closing the story book. Elijah's yawns echoed the room. Maverick laid him in his crib and lifted up the bars after tucking him in.

"Goodnight sweet boy" Scarlett said kissing him on his forehead.

"Goodnight bubba" maverick kisses his forehead as well. I did the same before we slowly sneaked out to get back into ours.
