24| Stormy Reflections

D E D I C A T I O N

In the memory of calm that once was.

ᯓᡣ𐭩₊˚⊹

I gaze up high, as rain comes pouring down
Like clouds crying out, with a sorrowful frown
Around me, lightning flashes, with a deafening sound
As if they're screaming loud, their hearts torn apart, all around

I see the trees, their leaves dancing with glee
Struggling to stay, rooted wild and free
The clouds release their pain, in a destructive spree
Leaving chaos behind, for all to see

The cries of thunder, shake the ground below
A tree loses balance, and its roots let go
In this moment, I realize, with a heavy heart
There's a limit to tolerance, a breaking point to start

When emotions overflow, like the stormy sky
We cry, we scream, and sometimes, we say goodbye
To the calm within, and the peace that we knew
And destruction follows, like the storm, anew

I'm thrilled to share 'Stormy Reflections' with you, a poem inspired by nature's power (<(^_^<)). While discussing poetry ideas with THE_ESTIMATED, this idea came to mind and couldn't wait to bring it to life (≧▽≦).

Nature has always been my sanctuary, where I find solace, peace, and comfort in moments of loneliness ╥﹏╥. Personifying it came naturally, especially after befriending a tree near my terrace, which I talk to almost daily (◕‿◕✿).
