The first elimination round of the provisional license exam: throwing softballs at light-up targets. You could use any part of the field, thanks to its multifaceted nature. All examinees have three targets on their bodies and six softballs in hand to use. If all three targets are hit, then the student is defeated. Only the first hundred examinees to knock two participants out get to move on to the next stage.

Walking from the center of the stadium to one of the cityscapes near the edges was rather tiresome, considering the entire time you had to be on high-alert to dodge any other players. A few minutes had passed, and you were nearing the city.

"Uh.... the event's at a stalemate.... not a single examinee has passed yet..." Mera announced. "Oh, right. Just letting you all know that I'll be doing play-by-play announcements from the broadcast booth."

Hm.... no one had passed yet? The targets on your bodies are basically weak points, meaning you had to fight while guarding those points. Hence why you chose places which would be well-guarded anyway.
