After Jasper told them about the impeding visit of Mrs. Juliana's father, Arianna labeled their plan mission impossible. From what Jasper explained he was a strict man who expected nothing but perfection. And the fact that Travis was holding his breath the entire time Jasper spoke about him, Arianna didn't doubt him one bit.
"Okay you've given us a hundred reasons why this plan is crazy and won't work. So how about something positive? Like his weaknesses? Does he have a soft spot for a bit of crazy?" Arianna asked. Travis looked offended.
"Not at all" Jasper laughed. "He is ready to cut anyone off at the slightest misbehavior he has no regard for family and blood. He is willing to accept anyone as long as they are competent" Jasper continued.
"That's why I told you guys we shouldn't do this, at least not right now" Travis pleaded.
"No that's why we should do this" Jasper began but Arianna cut in she had gotten the idea behind Jasper's plan after stroking her chin for minutes
"I get what you mean, since Travis's grandfather has no favoritism and strong sense of judgment if he says Travis is alright then its irrefutable proof!" Arianna concluded like she thought of the idea all along. Jasper just nodded at her.
"Then why can't we just convince my mom instead, she has good judgment" Travis chipped in.
"That's won't work I admit that your mother is intelligent and cautious but it doesn't change the fact that she is your mother. No matter what she will protect you and this will blur her judgment which doesn't make her a solid test for you" jasper retorted.
"Jasper is right, there is the fact that she is scared of her father she won't let you do anything reckless that you might be holed up in that house till you grow grey hair or your grandfather dies whichever comes first" Travis immediately inspected his hair.
"Are you really sure this will work?" Travis asked when he realized he couldn't talk them out of their decision.
"Ultimately it's up to you" Arianna said taking another roll from the foil.
"Travis can you remember? We always waited for the time we will take over BM motors side by side and accomplish what even your mom couldn't? how long are you going to wait? I'm waiting for you to take my side" Travis started wide eyed at Jasper like he just said the words he had been waiting for all his life.
"Get ready to work your ass off" Travis said bumping Jasper on the shoulder.
'I already do that" they shared one of those bro friendship moments we saw in teen romance movies and when Arianna couldn't take it anymore she slammed her fist on the table.
"Cringe! You guys are not going to hug or anything right?" after getting death glares she decided it was time to call it a day.

When they dropped Arianna off at her apartment, she headed straight to her room and shut the door. Lying flat on her face she let the event of today replay in her mind. Once again she had been hasty and hadn't thought it through. If Travis gets better she won't be needed anymore and will have to go back to her former life. Was she really okay with that?
When Travis and Jasper got home they were still full of energy they were like two kids who had awaken after a long nap. They played video games and watched funny videos. When they wore themselves off they lay on the blankets placed on Travis's room floor side by side.
"Hey I know I talked big but I'm actually scared" Jasper confessed.
"There is nothing wrong with that I'm scared too but don't worry we will see this through like we always did, together" with that, they drifted asleep.
When Travis woke up he was in bed and Jasper was gone. To work Travis thought. Throwing off the covers he went to have his bath. Today was the start of his progress. Arianna had made it clear she won't make it easy but he was determined. He was going to see it through.
After taking his bath and putting on his cloths, he heard a knock on the door. Without waiting for a response Arianna slammed the door open. Her bag and notes in her left hand and her right hand holding a whistle to her lips. And although she saw he was awake and ready, she blew it anyways.
"No time for sleep! Soldier offer you heart and embrace your destiny" she screamed before slamming the door.
"What sort of lame motivation is that?"
"Before I start I just want to say I'm sorry" Travis arched his brows
"For what?"
When Arianna couldn't sleep yesterday, she went to her grandmother's. After telling her about her plan to make sure he took his part in the company, she told her about how she wanted it to last longer and how she knew it was selfish and unfair to Travis. She expected her grandmother to look at her with disgust and yell at her for being selfish, but her grandmother just smiled.
"You are a good kid, and there is nothing wrong with that" she had said.
Arianna had been paranoid all night but her head felt lighter after that, then she remembered. Her dream was not to make a lot of money her dream had been to help people. That's why she took that career that's why she was here and nothing else mattered.
"I'm sorry for you, because I'm going to whip out that madness in you!" Arianna looked terrifying like a scientist who had a breakthrough and Travis was the lucky lab rat.
"Hey are you alright? You got a crazy look in your eyes" Travis said baking away.
"No more chit chat let's get on with it we have less than a week and no time to waste! Now go and get us some chips my subordinate"
"You are being weird again. And I thought you said there wasn't time to waste?"
"You are wasting time" when she blew her whistle again, Travis sighed and went to get the chips.
When he came back, Arianna had laid out numerous CDs across the table.
"Those still exist in this age?"
"Yes rich boy, this is a collection of the most annoying movies ever made, movies with plot so bad you will want to throw your fist at the TV, and wash your eyeballs. Watching this you will learn to handle your emotions"
"Wow that's really smart, is this a famous therapy method?"
"No, it's just something I saw in an anime" Travis' face fell "and that's not all, while watching I'm going to be annoying the shit out of you, you know how annoying I can be" Travis nodded vigorously "and say goodbye to your yummy lemonade all the while I'll pump caffeine into you, it will make you jittery and sharpen your senses"
"Is this safe?" Travis was genuinely concerned because the crazy gilt never left Arianna's eyes if for anything it grew brighter.
"I have no idea. Doesn't that make you excited?"
Travis remembered Arianna's words the fact that you can die if something goes wrong is the thrill. He decided that it wasn't safe at all. But he was done playing it safe.
"I trust you. Let's do this!" Arianna gave him a maniac smile.
"Then I personally recommend we start with this"

It's me again. Please comment🙂
