"Arianna? What?" Harry had never been at a loss of words but being smart, he knew a very few selection of words would convince Arianna out of this situation.
"You are that guy from the other day" Travis pushed past Arianna into the hallway. " I knew you were bad news since I found out you made Arianna cry, I was right and now you want to get rid of her?" Travis grabbed harry by his collar lifting him slightly from the floor.
"Travis stop it! You are going to hurt him" Arianna yelled.
"You still care about this asshole? He is planing to kill you" Travis said with a scoff
"We don't know that yet" Arianna explained
"This is a misunderstanding Arianna listen to me, you know I would never hurt you" harry pleaded. Arianna was torn between listening to her heart and head every time harry was involved.
"Don't you dare speak to her with that filthy tongue. I don't believe a word you say" Travis threatened pulling him higher Arianna wanted to mention Harry knew that which was why he directed his plea to her but held her tongue.
"Travis put him down" was all she said
"Don't tell me you believe this guy" Travis said disbelief dripping in his tone
"Now!" Arianna said firmly. Travis loosened his fist and Harry jerked free landing softly on his feet.
"Fine. And they say I'm the crazy one" Travis said before stalking off in the wrong direction. His vision was clouded by rage.
" I can explain" harry started
" I know but not right now just tell me, who was that and what does he know?"
"Louis wheelchair, assistant director. He knows everything about you and he is dangerous I know you are all about that stuff but you shouldn't mess with him"
"Assistant director that means his office is right along Julianna's" Arianna said walking down the hallway.
"Still as stubborn as ever I see"
"Don't hold your breath I'm only going to get an autograph."

When she could only hear the clicking of her feet on the white tiles, Arianna was sure she was in the right place. A huge gold sign showed Julianna's name and an arrow to her office. As she expected, Louis stood outside the door with someone she didn't expect, Carl Benson. They were talking in hush voices that's she couldn't hear anything even with the graveyard silence. Their discussion was cut of when the sighted her.
"Didn't you ever learn not to eavesdrop on others?"Louis scolded in a stern voice a perfect match with the one she had heard in the hallway.
"Unfortunately no. Because I was busy learning to grow up and leave the sand box for kids or rather leave behind the scenes tricks for pathetic magicians" Louis's expression flashed rage. For people who just met they sure didn't get along.
"Now you watch your tongue young lady before you lose it along with that lousy head of yours" he threatened. What was he king of hearts?
Before Arianna could retort Carl let out a soft chuckle grabbing their attention.
"What a lively bunch. It's been a while since I heard such a passionate dialogue"
"Well we are both passionate about what we do and to whom" Arianna said with a side eye to Louis. Who just scoffed and made to leave.
"What could be the cause of this commotion this early. What are you all doing here?" Julianna asked confused. They weren't a combination you would see at a coffee shop catching up.
"Nothing special. Just a meet and greet I guess, or should I call it a blind date although I hate being the third wheel." Carl dramatized.
"Well I want no part of whatever it is. Please get back to work this company manufactures cars not meet cutes" Julianna scolded.
"Yes ma'am" Carl said with a dramatic bow mockery dripping off his words before he and Louis stalked off leaving Arianna with Julianna.
"Arianna inside now!" Julianna whispered disappearing back into her office "Could you be anymore obvious? I'm pretty sure I asked for an undercover job" Julianna blasted when they were locked and secured from eavesdroppers.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures. Now tell me what do you think of Carl Benson?" Arianna asked settling into one of the chairs.
"Carl? If there is anyone you should be concerned about it is Louis! He is a very cunning man who thinks he knows what is best always. Carl isn't a threat and even if he is I can handle him myself."
"Is that so? Then I guess your trembling hands are unrelated" Julianna quickly hid her fingers behind her.
"Look Arianna I know I pulled you into this dangerous world but I can't have you dealing with Carl no matter what"
Why not? Arianna's eyebrows asked
"Because of Tra- no because it's my fight and I can't push it unto another" Arianna didn't further the Travis issue because she knew where it would lead and didn't want to go there.
"I'll respect that for now. But most importantly has your trembling stopped I need your auto graph" Julianna ignored that remark.
"What do you need that for?"
"Just a tribute for the investigation" Julianna didn't press further.
After getting the autograph, Arianna was making her way down the hallway back to her office when she heard a ticking sound coming from one of the rooms. It sounded like a clock but it wasn't there when she came down the hallway earlier. Carefully she stalked down to the room she suspected it was coming from looking down the hallway earlier at both sides, no sound or moving image could be seen. Although it was a big company this parts were always deserted. Whatever it was, it was calling to her. Someone who knew she would be here at this exact moment. When Arianna finally guessed what the sound was and backed away it was too late. The exploding sound deafened her ear as she was blown away. The red explosion was the last clear thing she saw before her vision blurred. Smoke quickly filled the hallways as she lay on her back unable to move, talk or even breathe. As the light was about to leave her eyes all she could think about was how excited she was. This time around she was the one hurt not people she cared about this time around she felt the pain at least physically. With that thought on her mind she closed her eyes lying lifeless on the burning red carpet.
