Arianna opened her eyes to blinding lights. As expected of the gate of heaven. She didn't believe someone like her made it here but she wanted to run in before someone asked her what she was doing here. When she tried to move she found out she couldn't, then the blinds pulled shut and she couldn't see anything at all. As expected, she didn't belong there after all she never reverend God.
"Arianna can you hear me? Are you awake?" That's didn't sound like an angel, it sounded too familiar.
Arianna tried to speak up and explain her life time but she couldn't move even her lips only the tip of her finger.
"Woah it moved! Arianna can you hear me? relax you can't move yet. I'll go get the doctor" came the voice again this time unmistakeable. Angel Travis.
Arianna was smart and great with shock so she realized. She had survived the accident. Miraculously. She was in the hospital, unsure where, she could sense she was bandaged all over, her face not an exception that explained why she couldn't talk, for the burns definitely. She thought of what she needed to know, how long was she unconscious?,what happened?, who saved her?, who was the first on the scene?.
Travis was back along with other strange voices two people, a man and a woman. Doctors
"She moved her hands I'm telling you" angel Travis explained
"That's not possible it has only been a week" that answered Arianna's first question. To ensure Travis wasn't viewed as an obsessive psychopath, which was one of his rumored qualities, Arianna moved her finger again.
"See?"
The doctors clearly bewildered began making checked on their machines and on her body.
"We will run a few more test. From her survival, to her quick recovery everything seems like a miracle. You've got yourself a fighter kid" said the doctor undoubtedly to Travis. You've got yourself? Arianna replayed in her mind.
"I heard the news" angel Julianna. She sounded up and about for someone whose company went up in flames not to mention the accident happened few feet away from her office.
"Yes she is awake. Just this morning" Travis explained again.
"As expected. Someone like her can't die from just that" no. I definitely would have if I wasn't rescued a second I was. Arianna replied in her mind. "Glad we could get to her when we did. I mean I was in shock myself but she had just left my office."
"It's my fault I should have stoped her or gone along" Travis sulked
"Let's just be glad you made it in time. Who knows what would have happened a minute later, you saved her life Travis."
Although Arianna's questions were getting answered one at a time, more questions arouse. Was the bomb aimed to kill her or scare her? Although that blast suggested the former. How far was the culprit willing to go? A question lingered at the back of her mind although asking it would be in forgivable to the " hero" who saved her life. Coincidence or a plan to be indebted.

Travis and Julianna had just left, they promised to return soon. Travis rushed home to get a pair of changing cloths, he insisted on staying the night at the hospital to keep her company. Arianna wanted to resist the idea but couldn't, literally. She was about to fall asleep when the commotion outside jerked her awake.
"We are really sorry ma'am you can't see the patient now she needs to rest for a little while"
"You are telling me I can't see my grandmother because she wants to sleep? She had been sleeping for a week that is enough even for hibernation"
"That's not how it works ma'am, it's hospital policy" there were several hasty footsteps coming towards Arianna's room. Most likely the intruder and the nurse chasing after her.
"Mi hija! You crazy child" Arianna's grandmother rushed to her side holding firmly to her hands which Arianna shook continuously to acknowledge her excitement to finally hear her grandmothers voice. Her grandmother was strong but Arianna hated that she made her worried, she hadn't even repaid her grandmother for all she had done." It's all my fault what kind of grandmother am I ?" Her grandmother wept. Arianna wanted to assure her grandmother that wasn't the case at all but her fingers couldn't talk. "All because I wanted that stupid autograph you wouldn't have been there" her grandmother explained drenching Arianna's bandage with tears. Arianna hated the situation she couldn't comfort her grandmother and tell her it wasn't at all her fault, tell her that it would have still happened as it did even if she hadn't gone to work that day, but instead, Arianna just drenched her face bandage with tears. Her grandmother wasn't the one covered in bandages but she was hurt worse.

One benefit of being bandaged all over and unable to move was that Arianna finally had the break she didn't know she needed. She just laid there all day with her thoughts. She connected suspect with mental images and drew lines on the white linen with her now complete moving fingers. When she got bored she thought about what she would want to to look like if she had to get plastic surgery for the burns. But when Julianna informed her one morning that she wouldn't be needing one, she had free time to think of something else. She thought about Jasper, Travis, Harry, Mr. Benson, Mr. Louis,Julianna, Travis' grandfather. Putting herself in a third person perspective she thought of who wanted her off the map the most. She didn't know how harry fit into this play but based on present information he ranked third on her list. She wanted to trust him but it was too dangerous. Mr. Benson came next, the joker with an open slate. He was an open book written in a different language and he knew where Arianna would be at that particular moment. Mr. Louis ranked first he was obviously sketchy and although Arianna wasn't the type to judge based on first time encounters, her gut was her strongest quality aside her surprisingly healthy hair.

"Arianna?" It's been weeks but this was one voice she hadn't heard. Her family and acquaintances had come and gone several times. She wondered why he hadn't come not like she wanted him to come or anything but she was just curious. Was he alright? She didn't know where he was during the blast and couldn't ask. Days then weeks but his name never come up. She waited giving excuses.
She felt someone take her hands into theirs it was warm just like her grandmother's had been, the person cried as her grandmother had. Arianna was angry, happy, sad and relieved. Her bandages were scheduled to be removed tomorrow but she continued to press the remote that summoned the nurses, she wanted the bandages off right now! She wanted to see his face, was he hurt? Did he get into any fights? When tears bit at her eyes she dropped the remote.
